it's just such a weird spot because we don't really put AA or KK in his range given preflop action. we have him pegged as passive so it's not crazy to put those in his range but I really wouldn't have expected him to show up with AA here. however, I still think I'm folding flop given the shot of QQ flatting pre, with the "if the A or K doesn't flop I'll go ahead and lead" or even a 78 hand that wants to "protect against the club draw."

Re: 1/2 JJ on BTN

This is the easiest fold in the world. You 10xbb wow. Your raise should be $10/$12 depending on how many limpers. $20 is my raise size in 2/5 with 3 limpers lmao.

I don't think you know how to range. A loose passive is not leading $60. He probably was just a nit. Fold flop. A key to this hand is the J in your hand. When this happens I always basically discount flush draws and put the guy on a huge hand, especially some old dude who is 70, he is never getting my money. Than you turn JJ into a bluff ott, amazing!

Re: 1/2 JJ on BTN

You know that some loose passives wont raise pf with ther large pocket pairs because "There is not enough money in the pot(i asked one his thought process after a hand liike this)" How do we adjust to that we don't value own ourselves??

I just said wow, if your only raising 1010+, AK and AQ yeah the sizing is fine. But if you want to open your range you have to tone down the raise size. That's all I'm saying. Sorry if I came at you wrong.

my opponents are not ranging me. they do not give the slightest **** about these details. maybe when i move up to 2/5 2-3 people at the table will catch on and i will have to change. as is, i can 10x it with only the strongest hands and get called regardless, because, as has been duly noted on this forum lately, of slot machine mentality.
