And I had history playing AK I 3b him in sb, flop came A68 I cbet he called, turn 9, I c/c his bet, river is a king, I c/c again with top two, he show me T7dd with nut straight.

My 1st instinct was to 4 bet him, but since I was upswing that point , I didn't wanna risk my chips if he flat call, the flop comes low flop..disastrous, I also wouldn't think he can fold to my $140ish 4 bet once he committed himself $50

Not trying to be a douche but if you are scared to play AK in position in a hand with a pre-flop raise from a straddler, that straddles often and has tried to steal from the straddle you should probably pick up, capture the win you care about, and come back another time when you are willing to play. This is a spot you should want to be in. I think there are arguments for either calling or raising, and the only argument for folding is that you are scared to play; if so, you shouldn't.

I tend to call in position against this type of player. It keeps his range wide, should under rep our hand, and lets us improve or evaluate the action after. I obviously want to improve but even if we don't we have a lot of options after the flop and are likely ahead.
