Turn continuation bluff? Turn continuation bluff?

Loose 8/16, 7 handed. all bad and passive players. Im on btn having to put small blind on it. Everyone limps. I complete my sb with 67o.

Flop is k58 rainbow. Checks to me I bet. 3 callers. Turn is 3. Checks to me. I should ... ?

I feel certain no one has top pair. Its a straight forward table. A lot of players will call with bottom and mid pair, even two randoms to take one off for backdoor possibilities. I find that a cbet bluff on turn will usually get chasers to give up, but I also wonder if im being overly aggressive, esp with 3 callers. This is a very common situation I find myself in in 8/16 - hu or 3 way I can usually make an informed decision and narrow opponents range. In this case, not sure what to do.

I'd check.

As played, I'd check the turn. You state that players will call down with things like bottom pair, so you're not likely to get a better hand to fold. With 3 opponents, you're almost certainly not up against 3 chasers who all might fold. And that's not enough opponents to bet your draw for value. So the only reason to bet would be to set up a river bluff if you miss your draw, in hopes that the guy who is calling down with bottom pair A) misses his 2 pair/set and B) is now willing to fold bottom pair for one more bet.

Well said. It's important to note that your chance of bluffing successfully deteriorates with each additional opponent.

Perhaps check out this thread by CaptainR.

The 3 isn't a scare card. You're planning on bluffing 3 people on a total blank? This isn't in play here, but how many callers would you need to value bet your draw?

When asking myself whether I should bet the turn, I ask myself why I bet thy flop. If I did it for a free card, what makes me wanna rep the K now? Did I get unexpected folds and it's heads up? Did players give a tell like they wanted to fold? Do I think they'd showdown middle or bottom pairs and I won't get away with a bluff if I miss the river? Have I been aggressive and are they calling me light on the flop but fold the turn?

In the loose game you described in check the turn because I'm not sure I can bluff the river. Also, when one the button I also still have the option to bluff the river after everyone has shown weakness twice and your the only one that's shown any strength. Maybe repping a weak K. Only you know if this is possible in your game or not
