TT pressurize on monotone flop?

TT pressurize on monotone flop?

8 handed SSLHE Vegas Rake

I OR MP with TT folds to sb (Quite loose aggressive but fairly straightforward and predictable with me as leader) calls, BB (Loose weak fish) calls.

Flop comes A 8 3

sb checks bb bets I raise sb folds bb calls.

consider various turns particularly the Paints and pairs and describe appropriate action regarding them.

Re: TT pressurize on monotone flop?

I'd bet turn on a club because it will be very hard for him to continue without a flush.

I bet a non-club turn in case he's drawing and I'm ahead.

Is it because the pot is very small? Ie how does your answer change, if ever, as the pot size grows?

A loose weak fish is betting into OP on a scary board. This is like always an Ace or better. If he was drawing for the fourth club I think the villain would probably just call until he got there, given OP's read.

So yeah, I would also fold the flop.

Grunch

why are you raising a passive (aka "weak" right?) when he/she is clearly telling you they have something? At the very least call and see how they react ott. But even that would be questionable since our passive opponent is probably betting something that puts in the backseat.

I would insta fold in this situation.

Hypothetically - Even if your laggy friend raised I would be hesitant to raise although if it meant knocking out the middle guy who might have live cards to beat you later on I wouldn't mind it. I still think even though we're "ahead" vs random hands from the blinds I think I would prefer raising on the turn if a "blank" (say 9) but probably not if he cbet and the fish in the middle still called. If he over-called if he didn't have a club we can probably deduce that he has an ace. I would probably fold there. If the fish folded though I might be tempted to raise there - or just take the typical wawb line vs the bb. just some thoughts on this situation.
