No, I think you and I agree on how many people adhere to such a table.

I think strict adherence, and I mean robotic, literal, don't think just do it adherence, is not something to be worked on but just something to be done on a 2/4-3/6-4/8 level. Sure, most people don't, but the explicit context of my question and the implicit context of the OP was what the next steps were.

Assume you have a SSHE robot which plays SSHE to a T. Also assume they bet TPTK straightforwardly. That's what I call an ABC TAG, and this strategy beats basically all 3/6s and a lot of 6/12s IME. SSHE is not perfect, robotically betting TPTK isn't perfect, but it puts you on the fairway.

Yes, I agree if people aren't playing SSHE-ish preflop, fix that first. I'll also point out if people aren't betting TPTK+, fix that first.

Then what? What are the 7-iron things you need to get on the green?

You can further adjust preflop. I don't like this because optimal for massively multiway pots is not optimal for >20/40, and I think we've had this discussion before and agreed you should shoot for the bigger games ASAP.

But IME, the big questions I had at 6/12 were

(a) How do I win when I'm not getting 3 callers at showdown?

(b) People keep raising draws and then getting there. Halp.

(c) How do I know when people are bluffing?

It is funny because playing 8-24 tables, I'd just never deviate from my hand chart. Never. I might make a stat read and adjust a pip or two, but like just leaving the reservation never happened. Getting bored enough to just fire away (or as we've seen people post here, reraise this stuff), it is a live thing. Then of course, you get the situational read where we argue it is good poker.
You'd have to work hard to convince me that this is a thing, and you see it all the time. Let's find a reason that raising a 6 high suited 2 gapper is good poker in a mid-stakes game. Where could this not be terrible? I guess it goes to lawdude's rants about discipline -- even winners in mid-stakes games get bored, they over adjust, or they believe silly things. Limping A9o in a 20 game in front of me and merryber is never right, no matter the rest of the lineup. Even against a normal lineup, it is always wrong.
I know we've talked about this in the past, but wait a minute, I remember a woman at Bellagio doing this on this exact flop, turn and river made any A a straight and guy w/ KT value bet and got called anyway. You weren't in Vegas in early June, were you?

Cali, I don't really know how to answer your question. Basically everyone that I see that can play bot like pre is a solid winner in 20 and most 40 lineups. I imagine this is a product of them also figuring out post as they've figured out pre, but also they don't have post flop leaks becusse they aren't in so many marginal spots.

I'd imagine your bot could prob be good enough to beat most 20 games. They won't win as much as guys that are able to adjust but certainly will be among top 2-3 players in most lineups on preflop alone.

I'm also talking strictly about full ring, these change short handed

Also, I've never read any of the SSHE books you and other keep referencing so I really don't know what standard SSHE is, but I ah e some assumptions and I would guess it close to just straight forward in most spots.
