QJs OTB

V1 in sb is a reg not terribad bit not good either. Low aggression.

V2 in MP is THE ultimate reg in O11 8/16. A little hard to read but errors on aggressive side in big pots.

4 Limpers to me. I raise otb w QJs.
All come along. 14sb.

T87r 1 of my suit. Check to V2 who bets. 2 calls 1 fold.
hero?

Unfortunately your overcard outs are so weak on this board. It doesn't seem all that likely you'll get a free card either, and you'll have to worry about getting 3-bet. The more I think about it, the more I like calling.

Call..If a q or j show up still on the cautious train. You aren't getting a free turn, and want everyone peeling not isolating a made hand vs a gutter.

What exactly is the question?

Call the flop.

Turn Ks.

River your original gutshot.

Mega-Easy fold now. You are beating nothing here and have no flush or st8 draws.

Re: QJs OTB

This doesn't seem like a forum-worthy post. Incredibly easy call on the flop and incredibly easy fold on the turn.

That's a fair assessment Was suffering from some ROT-ten thinking after watching the miracle river 9 roll out after doing the incredibly easy plays on each street. Only getting to play occasionally so just needed a sanity check that I hadn't missed something.

Yep.

Don't think you made the wrong play because you got there. The turn is the easiest decision ever. The raise just made your decision really easy.

Mostly I was trying to figure if I missed something on the flop by not at least attempting to "slow down" the hand with a nut draw.

I'm mean 95% of the time I'm just calling here and folding turn unimproved. Every once in A while I raise the flip and try to free card my way to victory.
