I tend to be lost whenever I flop the but flush and wonder what line is optimal. Ie im in MP with Ad9d. I open three callers and bb call.

Flop is Q7J diamonds. I bet. Two calls and sb raises. I should???

You should never stop raising until you don't have the nuts.

3b...

Especially since the 2 callers already have 'skin in the game' and invested a bet on the flop. Many will not be disciplined enough to not call the other 2 bets.

Also...on such a flop with the nuts, 2 things will work for you:
1) if they have a hand there is a reason for them to believe you may be on a flush draw. So they will still call.

2) if they have a high diamond they have reason to chase...

So...raise raise raise

Yea I should've done that. Doh. What about a similar situation, 5/6 handed, where hero flops a full house. No ace or kings on board.

Once they decide to go nuts on the flop, help them. Nothing gets people's Spidey Sense going like someone who meekly calls the flop and then raises some blank turn. Since you value bet more thinly than they do and raise draws for value, you also get to smash the RAIZE!!! button when you are nutted. Otherwise, you start playing backwards.

raise now before half the deck kills your action on the turn

When is the lone K going to lose a lot of money?
  1. On the flop when he has two streets to draw
  2. On the turn, with his odds cut in half
  3. On the river, having missed his flush
  4. On the river, having made his flush when you jammed the flop and he assumes you had two pair or a set because of your flop action (and his hopes).
Notice the 3 is a likely case and he never gets action? Two isn't getting money shoveled in. 4 requires 1.

Generally, people drawing dead don't pay you off when they miss.
