Re: MAY(be) 2p2 will still be here tomorrow LC/NC thread.

You know what they say, you have to give action to get action.

Or was that marital advice, I can't remember.

Has it been working in the poker room or the bedroom?

I imagine 3 betting a HJ open with 4 high and then calling the HJ check raise on a J55dd with no diamonds HU is only done for implied tilt odds, right?

Also because every card in the deck, except perhaps a 4 or our kicker, lets us jam the turn or river.

Me too, implied tilt odds is the best explanation I could come up with after I was on the receiving end of this line. Villian was neither drunk nor on drugs at the time.

Re: MAY(be) 2p2 will still be here tomorrow LC/NC thread.

Dull no action game, I'm only staying bec I had a ticket to the Smokey Robinson show at CAZ (really great. 1500 ppl sing-a-long for a lot of it). Finally a few limpers, I limp 8-8, we see a flop 8-ways:

1084

UTG bets, next in raises, couple calls, I 3!, couple calls, 2-bettor calls.

Turn 10 and I get to jam it for 4-bets 4 ways bec the guy on my left went AI for 3. I know I've got to fade a few cards.

River: 10. I fold to the bet from the flop 2-bettor.

Some of the others are flabbergasted at how I could fold for one bet in a huge pot. Not only did I fold but this time I'm not going back until I lose 25 lbs bec even I am being affected by the run-bad.

I know one sure way to stop it. Raise all the hands that really need to be raised. If you stop passing up good EV spots to "see a good flop before committing chips", you'll never see this comment directed at you.

Ship the money to BBB on FTP2 for me, then he'll send me cash. My new FT SN will be super-secret.

What about that 'potential customer' bit?
