marginal hands

Hand #1
Poker Stars $3/$6 Limit Hold'em - 8 players
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

Pre Flop: (1.333 SB) Hero is MP1 with J A
1 fold, UTG+1 raises, Hero 3-bets, 5 folds, UTG+1 calls

Flop: (7.333 SB) 4 A T (2 players)
UTG+1 checks, Hero bets, UTG+1 raises, Hero calls

Turn: (5.667 BB) K (2 players)
UTG+1 bets, Hero calls

River: (7.667 BB) 6 (2 players)
UTG+1 bets, Hero calls

Villain is fairly aggressive, I've seen a raise in EP with A9 before and other stuff. Not sure about the river call here.

Hand #2
Poker Stars $3/$6 Limit Hold'em - 10 players
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

Pre Flop: (1.333 SB) Hero is MP2 with A T
4 folds, Hero raises, 3 folds, SB calls, BB calls

Flop: (6 SB) 3 4 7 (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, SB calls, BB raises, Hero calls, SB calls

Turn: (6 BB) 5 (3 players)
SB checks, BB bets, Hero folds, SB raises, BB calls

River: (10 BB) K (2 players)
SB bets, BB folds

Am raising as a first in, possible steal as table is tight.
Standard fold on turn? or should have folded flop>?

Re: marginal hands

Hand 1: Calling here is villain-dependent. If I think villain will k/r flops with AX and can value-bet the river without a heart, I'm calling.

Hand 2: I'm calling the flip k/r, but I'm folding on the turn.

Re: marginal hands

hand 1: 110% with mr bostick. Totally depends on who it is, coupled with a bit of how i've been running. It takes a strong player imo, to consistently bet ax with no heart on that board oop.

I'd consider the freeze play on the turn to charge naked hearts and inferior A's, and try to avoid the river situation.

hand 2: fine. definitely opening in MP, limping is a fail.
