But if no bet has been laid out there, calling is not an option. Likewise, if a bet has been put out, checking is not an option. Ergo, no confusion with using "c" to rep both call and check imo. (if you can't tell, I'm with Bravos in liking "c")

sure. makes sense.

it still can be confusing when you don't have time to think about what the logical action is and you're just looking at the letter "c" or "k".

it just makes sense to me, but it doesn't bother me if people use "c" or "x" or "ck" or whatever. do what you like. i like "k".

We Old Schooler's just ain't gonna use "k" cause it's important to keep up with the action and if we gotta spell it out for ya, you prolly need to drop back a level or two and work on your game.

the "k" only represents "check" and makes things simpler imo.
LOL WAT?

In this line of thinking, why can't the "k" represent call or check?
Do you ever see c/r and think.. hmmm, does he call/raise?

I think I'm gonna change all of them too...

IP$OOP now is bb and stands for Involuntarily putting-in $$ OOP
ip$$oop is for sb because IP$POOP is BIG and ip$oop is small LDO (extra bonus because it looks like "I poop"!)
Boom Stick Mother F'er or just BSMF, CO, HJ, LJ, FJ (far jack LDO), RFJ (Really Far Jack), NJ (No Jack), IP$OOP, ip$oop are now table positions from BTN to SB respectively

Raise is now "Jeffersons" (moving on UP!!!)

Hmmm there's some good opportunities here...lol

Interesting that while c/r could actually mean call/raise but isn't confusing (I agree), the k/r can only mean one logical thing but it causes both confusion and gets on people's nerves.
