The horseshoe kid is back.

This weekend included my best session ever in terms of my emotional control followed by my worst session ever in terms of money lost.

First session: Been reading Tommy Angelo's book and went in to the session with the goal to stay calm and relaxed as much as possible. Card's weren't that great and I was down for a while but ended up +13 bets after ~3 hours. I felt so good emotionally that it was amazing: calm, focused, didn't get bent out of shape when I took a bad beat. Really enjoyed myself and felt good.

Second session: Played for 8 hours, ended by losing 57 bets (3.5 racks). Emotionally I was not steaming, but not in as great a place as the first session. I think I was pretty card dead (not unlucky, but just missed a large % of hands and mostly got unsuited junk all night). I was still in a decent place emotionally though. Probably just should have quit earlier, but it was a slow bleed and I thought the table was good (personality-wise and full of weak players) so I stuck it out. Looking back on it, I probably should have just quit and tried again another day.
