Re: Foxwoods 10-20 kind of boring hand.

I bet-call the river. Not much got there which means a river raise is actually a super-polarized range.

Flop A92r I lead, Villain calls 2 folds.?
the question for yourself is "should I proceed with my plan or do I have enough information to make a change to it?"

so what was your plan for your hand when the PF action got to you?

probably to flop good to great and then lead or play strategically depending on how good. and either take down a pot or play heads up oop (an ace) or trap multiple opponents with a very strong hand (a set or a good draw)

ranges for villain.
facts:
I didnt open raise but limped from an ep

knocking BB (cant say much about this range) now open leads into multiple limpets on a dry Ace high board and I can call with several players behind in a 5sb bot. [12 sb implied]

given these facts at this point what would you say his holding could generally be?

For what it's worth, I'll chime in on the river as well.

It's a bet fold for me as well. I'm assigning ranges for Californian 8/16, though, as I've never played foxwoods 10/20. Against almost of these villains our river equity is over 50$ and a raise spells some absurd two pair or a slow played set.

Have to agree with this.
I've seen it once at 20/40 and never in 10/20 from anyone other than like 1 person.

why? not saying there's something wrong with it but I would lead here too. Just wondering what the advantage is to checkraising.
