So I watched Memento with my dad, and at the end he turned to me and asks, "So who was the bad guy?"

There is fl in san juan at the Marriot, but not like I've played before. The blinds are 2/5 but you can open preflop to either 10 or 15 and you can bet either 5 or 10 on the flop and must bet/raise 10 on turn and river. I never saw a reraise preflop so I still don't know what a 3 bet would be. Actually I never saw a reraise after the flop either.

But the players are really good so be careful. Like really really good.

Friends and I will leave the ladies behind to go out tonight. Boston is such a grind so we turn into big life degens when travelling.

I mean. That's a fair question.

The answer is almost always "who ever recommended the movie"

That's a fair Level 2 question. He was genuinely unaware that half the movie moved backwards through time.

How are you defining the word half here?

I thought the story was pretty entertaining, but I've heard it before, maybe it was a different telling of the story.

Q for the forum (wish that I could insert a poll like the old software allowed):

8-16. Great-Grandma opens UTG, folded around to you in LP holding A-Qo.

What do you do?
02-14-2016 , 12:00 AM
I fold almost 100% of the time in this position. If your idea is that GG is really tight then turbo much.
02-14-2016 , 12:07 AM
Yeah, folding can't be bad. Obviously great grandma could be a spazz, but you wouldn't be mentioning that if you noticed she was. So she might have AJ once in awhile, no big deal.

Texting with John Locke really is fantastic

Results may vary.

Confirmation is always nice. I'd seen her limp w/ AK, JJ and some other decent hands earlier. I turbo-mucked bec the only hands that I want to get involved w/ Great-Grandma in that spot are AA and KK and I'm not happy w/ the KK, tbh.

Assumption of Risk.

Any spades players around here?

I played last night with some old friends. It had been a while but it's like riding a bike. My playing partner and I won by about 100 points, but the best part was when someone put on Sublime's 40 oz to Freedom and we all started singing along.

lolwut

They allow heads up players agree to go all in and I saw this often.

The rake is unbeatable, but it's way more fun than slot machines.

Random degen fail, tried to have lunch at Bay and no seats every list is solid; tried to have lunch at M8trix and no seats every list is solid. Backup degen plan / self-destructive behavior is In & Out and Sweetheart Cafe.

You're definitely losing it

The gold club does a nice lunch

A different kind of run-bad:

Bunch of limpers, I call 63 SB, BB knuckles.

Flop: 3-3-4. I donk right out, only 1 caller.

Turn: 5. b/c.

River: 6. I bet, the other guy thinks and mucks.

HOW IN THE HECK DID HE GET TO THE RIVER W/O AT LEAST CALLING?

I was expecting a raise, jfc.

You went to two poker rooms to have lunch and play a bit? How far apart are these two places?
