Everyone is awful.

UTG limps, I raise black KQ next in, villain cold calls button, one blind call, limper calls. 4 ways.

Flop is 7910

Check round.

Turn is J

I bet, villain raises, folds, I 3 bet?

Anyways, I would fire the flop because I love money, but I hate chips.

Isn't in the flop where they never have it? Pretty sure that waiting to the turn, they did have it on the flop. Maybe I miss value, but showing down for the price seems good. People FSDR in your game?

I first read it as "LGBT". Is there anything wrong with that?

What are you doing if he four bets or raises river?

I probably call and donk safe rivers.

What is the point of call and then donk? What do you do when he raises the river?

I think, unless the person is mentally deficient, I am in call down mode once they raise the turn. Yes, there are the times they are raising the ace of hearts or two pair, but I think they have the flush more often than not here.

Seems like they should have an 8 for the lower straight more often than anything else. Still not sure that means I like a raise here though.

I mean, the other option is that they checked back the flop with a flush.

Well, you did say they were awful so I guess that's possible.

And wassup with "Drambuie?" (That's like the worst thread title ever unless I'm missing something obvious. Also one of the worst liqueurs on the planet.)

Not to doubt you, but perhaps you've just had it wrong in the past.

I actually didn't notice the 4-card straight on the turn, which actually makes the turn 3-bet less clear, albeit counter-intuitive.

I wonder about a live villain who raises on a 3 flush board with 4 to a straight. Like how does he ever show up with two pair or a set and just throw in those 8 chips? Maybe he has an 8 or somehow shows up with Q8. We think he doesn't have a flush because of checking through the flop, but now he's retelling that story.
