The point was simply to illustrate how badly one man could play one hand.

Re: Commerce 8: LOL Freecardaments
I think the turn check is actually standard after that flop action. Yes, it's true, BB may be trying to take a free card. And yes, the 4 COULD HAVE improved our hand. But in reality, most likely, this is actually a weird multi-way way ahead/way behind situation, where BB has a mix of pocket pairs that we beat, straight and flush draws that we beat, counterfeited 2 pairs that we beat, and straights, trips, boats, and quads that we don't beat. Plus we got two other players who could have an ace, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7, diamonds, or even some medium pair. Leading out the turn allows our opponents to basically play close to perfectly against us, raising the stuff that crushes us and calling with the draws. We do get value from the one pair hands, but we need everyone to have a one pair hand or a draw or we are screwed.
Having checked the turn, I think the river play is also correct. Again, one more card that could crush us has come out, but we now beat all the busted draws and after the turn checked around, it just looks like checking to induce is a very attractive play here. And we beat lots of hands in the caller's calling range (such as ace-highs, smaller pocket pairs, and threes), so an overcall is also correct.

Commerce 8/16 is a raketrap. Drops $2 before the flop and $4 more for a total of $6 when you see the flop.
It's possible to win there, but if you are good enough to beat it, you should get a better roll and play 20/40 there or at the Bike or 25/50 at Hustler because your winrate will be better.

Turn 4c, I check and it gets checked around.

grunch - don't know why i missed this one. . .
I'm scared ****less of those cc'ers. which is why I'm not betting either ott or otr. However - I think our hand is still a little too strong to fold despite the overcaller otr. Either opponent can be thinking "me haz 2p Ass kicker!" so meh I think it's worth a call for one bet otr. If it were raised itd be an lol fold... ldo.
I'd say nh.

Re: Commerce 8: LOL Freecardaments
With only 3 others in the pot, I think this turn is a bet. I'm not sure how many players it have to be before I start checking this turn, especially since it's the loose old asian persian man putting in the action. There are a lot of Ax/overcards/6x/random pairs that are staying around on this board, so this is honestly a great turn card for us.
Even if we bet and get raised by the angry persian, we could still have the best hand and should happily just call down.
As played, I like turn c/c. nh. I vote bet turn.
