Chase is BS'ing.

The scene itself is constructed almost the way you would do it in film school, with a series of point of view shots, while the camera tracks a threat that enters the diner, and ending with a point of view shot of blackness. In other words, it's pretty explicit that Tony was whacked. Chase's statement to the contrary is about as valid as if Orson Welles came out 10 years after Citizen Kane and announced that Rosebud wasn't really a sled after all.

Chase is a smart guy. He knows how to work his audience.

Can someone please just beat me over the head with a 2x4 and make me repeat that they aren't bluffing me nearly as much as I think they are?

That's only true when you are calling.

In contrast, when you are folding, they are bluffing you more than you think they are.

Decided to take another step toward the 21st century and changed the Yahoo Mail address on my resume to the Gmail address I've been cybersquatting for 9 years.

Hmmm. I don't really understand the turn. Why not either x/c or x/r?

Cause she has position and any remotely sane player will play almost perfectly if I check.

Young jeese raises A8cc OTB after 3_4 limpers. Sb three bets all call to HJ who folds AJo face up in a flourish to show how good she plays texas.

A9736

Da young jeese bets all three streets when checked to and collects 3 2 and 2 calls and wins all dollars in play.

Is this an OL hand? I mean you can pretty much just assume they're bat**** until proven otherwise if so, IMO

Kind of reminds me of what I did to a guy last weekend.

I open QJcc earlyish and loose guy 3! Next up. He thinks he's good, but is really far too predictable given how wide his ranges often are.

Flop AQQtt I x/r, he calls.

Turn 5 of other suit and I bet. He instaraises, I ask if it's AA or AQ and fold. AQ is the answer.

Literally just happened

OL 5 and BTN with just 2 bets in front of her opens. I call KK BB.

Flop AK2 I x/r, she calls all in with AA.

I run so good even when I run bad.

Am I the only one who thinks the whole debate is ludicrous?

Newsflash: Tony Soprano is not a real person. He was a fictional character; a pure abstraction. It makes zero sense to ask if he's alive or if he died because the character ceased to exist--even in the abstract sense--when the show abruptly ended. It's like asking if leprechauns like to ride unicorns.

That would also explain this response:

Quote:
"A journalist for Vox misconstrued what David Chase said in their interview," Chase's representative Leslee Dart said in a statement. "To simply quote David as saying, 'Tony Soprano is not dead,' is inaccurate. There is a much larger context for that statement and as such, it is not true. As David Chase has said numerous times on the record, 'Whether Tony Soprano is alive or dead is not the point' To continue to search for this answer is fruitless. The final scene of The Sopranos raises a spiritual question that has no right or wrong answer."
