Re: August NC/LC - Take em to School!

Why I love live poker

Foxwoods a few months back, playing against some whale woman (looks like she has some money, can't play at all). Seen her c/c down three streets against goofballs w/ the nuts, or near the nuts, all day, including c/c'ing down w/ top two against me and another guy in the hand. She's run good, and kept at the table as a result.

I pop some hand (Ace-broadway) UTG, her (UTG +2), MP, and a 2 others slam in the chips.

Flop comes A-2-7(?) rainbow, and I bet, and her, MP, and someone else calls

Turn comes another 2, I bet, her and MP call

River is a 3, I bet, she raises for the first time in, like, 12 hours, almost as goofy MP 3 bets. I turbo fold TP, she calls.

She has 3-2, he has 3-3.

She immediately berates the player for being in the hand and exclaims "THIS IS WHY I NEVER RAISE!"

I had to leave the table because I was laughing too hard.

Well the problem of underreporting is a completely separate issue. They've had that liability hanging over their heads for awhile. Could be ugly if DOJ did indeed get their hands on Full Tilt's assets and passed along the account records to the IRS to audit. A commission-compensated contract audity could have a field day.

I ensured my laughter explosion was saved until I was out of eyesight.

That's right, don't tap the glass. BTW, because I'm clueless, what is FTLTW?

Lol - playing a gong show 20/40 game. Average age is 55. It is 1pm. And yet the game is crazy. Go finger.

A couple players attempt to intercede and correct him. He is adamant and silences the players.
Aside from not doing his job earlier, this is atrocious. The dealer shouldn't ever be silencing anyone when the floor is trying to piece together what's going on. Obviously the floor should silence people so everyone isn't talking at once but should still hear all sides of the story.

What do you do if you are this player? FWIW, he seemed pretty new and not likely to raise a stink either at the time or afterward.
Probably talk to the shift manager away from the table. If you don't think anyone there cares, and can't play elsewhere, then you're probably screwed.

I like how you keep score. In my last round of golf, I finished all 18 holes with a score of +1. Yup, I lost 3 golf balls and found 4.
