Live $4/8 game with typically bad opponents. Loose passive, call with anything, etc.

I have AK of spades on the button. Very loose passive UTG limps, and 3 other players limp after him. I raise, they all call.

Flop is Q-4-Q rainbow (no spades). They all check to me and I bet. Two of them fold, the other two call.

Turn is a 10. They check. I check.

River King. UTG checks, 2nd player checks, I bet.

Should I have bet the turn? If they were tricky / aggressive players I think the check behind is good, but not sure it is against a loose passive line-up.

Checking is probably fine. One of them usually has at least like a pair.

Thanks, guys. UTG called my river bet and had a ten. Then a guy who folded AJ on the flop, complained for quite a bit that he would have made a straight.

Hand looks good to me. Prepare to get check called and win almost always (and don't have your head explode when someone check calls you with Q6 or something).

Edit: Return of jesse!
