Don't be so hard on yourself, I'd probably do the same bec, who knows? maybe he made trips. In my case it was very clear, at least to me.

When the boater didn't raise I had a glimmer of hope that it was only trips...

Then sadness enveloped me

I rasied the turn the other day with a flushdraw and he 3 bet. I was drawing dead but that didn't stop me from raising the river and calling a 3 bet.

Got seated this afternoon and the game was playing as if A: everyone had been told that they had 3 days to live or B: an asteroid the size of the moon was going to hit the Earth in 5 hours. 'Howard the Nit' was calling capped betting pf w/ hands like 108. Then I got moved to one of the main games where ppl were playing like their time had run out and I wanted to call the morgue to tell them that some of their corpses had escaped and were playing at table 19 at Talking Stick. Then some of the feeder game ppl showed up and the game took off again.

I won $52 in 3 hours, what a world beater I am!

Sick hourly!

And you should be calling in position with hands like that capped, right?

To be fair I called the 10-8 hand just two bets at a time but I would've played it from any position. Big pots were going to bottom pair! The entire table was nuts!

And I walked away thinking 'yep! ~$14/hr no matter what.' I went through enormous swings in just three hours and 'yep! ~$14/hr.'

Did you win the 10-8dd though? I forgot to ask.

Going to play 10-20 mix tonight. Will report back with failings.

I had a fun moment when I switched from 6-12O8 to 4-8HE to play with the ladyfriend:

First hand, take the big blind, four bet with 108 (literally because we had talked about capped bets with it) and then it gets capped

My personal sparkly hand is Q-9ss, don't ask me why.

Had a supposed pro player who plays 40 a lot 3bet my UTG open on the button w/ Q9o. Flop 9 high and I c/r and he 3bets and promptly hits the Q on the turn.

Expert.

His only mistake was that it wasn't suited, otherwise it's .

yes, yes, I see where he went wrong meow.

I recall an episode of the Big Game or PAD where Viffer is talking about a hand and he refers to Q9 as some novice hand. I can't get his slackjaw out of my head whenever Q9 comes up now.

I'm hoping to do that in a few weeks time . Can't wait to attempt to order water at the table.
03-26-2017 , 05:53 PM
Order ice water, a bottled water will cost you $1.25
03-26-2017 , 06:09 PM
Damn, pretty sure 3 years ago it was only 50 cents. Inflation is a *****...

I'm gonna assume that every 60+ white man in the building is Howard Beale.

At my casino a bottle of water costs $2.13.

Any thoughts on the 20/40 OE game @ Talking Stick. Quick eyeball and it looks kind of good to me.
03-26-2017 , 07:43 PM
It varies quite a bit but right now it's a good game. I'm sitting next to you by the way.

Lol thanks man. I like this 20 game too.
