So a few years ago I invited some Steelers fans over to watch a Pats-Steelers game. They kept yelling "KILL HIM!" and "MURDER HIM!" at the TV in front of my 2-year-old, who I quickly shuffled off to his bedroom. :\

I don't got any short right now. It's mostly a couple of my friends that trade it. They are really good at timing it (don't believe the losers that say you can't time the market). The one guy has made a small fortune shorting Tesla, fer crying out loud.

I'm actually dreading the time where I have to take my mom to play the slots because the closest place is a fairly new, nice, tribal casino with the worst paybacks known to mankind.

I take mom twice/month or so to play the Wheel of Fortune at Talking Stick. I've tried to explain the difference between tribal casinos and The Orleans where we stay in LV regarding payouts and I get the same answer every time: 'But what if I win?'

OTOH, the WoF has brought me closer to God bec when I pray in front of it I REALLY mean it!

Reminds me of Suburban Poker Man. He used to be my favorite poster for laughs. Something about taking his decimated poker troops/chips to the craps table to (improve their morale? kill off the weak?) something.

When I played sub-1h sessions, leaving before winning a pot was pretty common and I bet there was at least one time I left before VPIPing.

It was easy to tell when I didn't win a pot because I would have zero $1 chips. Never having VPIPed was a little harder to tell because I had to calculate whether I was down an integral number of blinds, and that was just too depressing.

I think super small sessions like that are tougher to be patient, especially if you are one that needs to book wins. The clock pressure is real.

Aren't you in the Bay area? Take her to the grungy old one (Casino San Pablo) and tell her they're all like that. She might not go back.
