1st Vegas trip - Small Stakes Poker Forum - Small Stakes Texas Holdem

I am finally making a trip to Vegas in April and will be staying at the Paris, which has no poker room. I normally play small stakes limit games at Caesar's properties (Council Bluffs, Southern Indiana, New Orleans, Tunica, Laughlin, and others) and would like to know where the best rooms with regular limit games are near (within walking distance) the Paris. I would prefer to play at Caesar's properties if possible but since it is my first trip out there, I am open to anything.

Check out Dynasty's "Status of Las Vegas Poker Winter 2015" thread in B&M for a chart of where the games are.

Basically, 2/4-3/6 is all over the place, and anything above is at the Bellagio.

Make sure to get the Bravo poker app. The Venetian and The Orleans also spread O8 at 8/16.

Vegas (outside the Bellagio) is a NL town. If you know how to play NL, the 1/2 or 1/3 games will be good everywhere. As a LHE player, I'd just head across the street and play at the B. Rake is reasonable and games are good.

I've never played NL cash games and I'm not sure Vegas is where I want to pop my cherry. Bravo shows that the Bellagio has plenty of LHE games that are in my comfort zone so that is where I will probably spend my time while in Vegas.

Sign up for their players card to get your $2/hr or w/e. You can't beat the salmon sandwich from Snacks. The duck from the asian place is good as well.

Don't forget to have fun playing the LHE HU machines just outside of the poker room. You pick the limit, no rake, free drinks and you can always see the computer's hand at the end of the hand.

Great for team play! One person's bluff is another person's value bet!
