Bellatrix is busy with the science, but the rest of us should bump the threads and post new ones. Let's get the NL posters and the deleted spammers off the top of our page.

Science, and posting kid pics on facebook, a far more important endeavor.

Here's one for McNeese. Our daughter has started her naturalist blog, and asked for some photos. The Cannon T3 has worked well.

Scored a 3rd place finish in my monthly tournament. Card dead all night for the 4th month in a row, but the hands I had all held up. Made a great fold of top pair when we we were down to around 15 that would have sent a lesser player to the rails. Busted when my KTs, button shove with 5BB's left was less than A5s of the same suit. We gave 10% of buyins to a local kid who is battling cancer so my take was only $300, but it was for a good cause. Between the 10% and all of the money we donated personally we raised about $800 last night.

Really happy with my game right now. This finish will have me sitting around 5th in the overall standings. Top 9 play for the championship in November.

Great! I'm glad the camera is working out for you.

McNeese's sports season are over for a couple of months so I've been bored when it comes to photography. So, I started sitting on my patio and "shooting" the various "wildlife" in my backyard. Birds, squirrels, flowers, etc.

Yesterday, this guy decided to entertain me for about an hour. Jurassic World in my backyard.

Loved your flower pictures, as well. My daughter is going to flip out over the lizard ones. She'll probably start riding her bike in your direction, today. You could make some nice tee shirts from these.

Standings are published. 6th place even with a 0 still on the record since I missed a tourney. Most of the rest of the top 9 have played every game. In the end we will keep 7 out of 11 scores to count toward standings since people miss so many nights over the course of a year. (It was originally going to be 7 of 10, but we added an 11th game to be played over summer)

I tried setting up something like you have with friends of mine but people were just too busy. I miss being 21 and having 0 responsiblities.

Good luck.

I'm redeclaring that I will make $1000 this year. I haven't played in 3 months. 5th grade girls basketball, cross country, and now softball has taken up most of my free time. But softball is almost over, so I should have more time to play.

Maybe this weekend I'll hit the superfecta in the Belmont Stakes. That would get me there a little quicker.

LOL. I'm 47. One night a month is hard, but I pull it off.

Robusto at 41st out of 660. 5000/10000 levels, I've got 9.5k in the SB after posting. Didn't have anything to play in the BB so I was in the spot. Tight-y CO opens who just took an AK v 66 flip for me an orbit earlier (I had AK). Brandon Cantu three balls, and he's been very active all night, losing to my flop Q-hi all in with his J-hi. (Lol.) I peek Tc9h and call all in. BB folds, CO calls. Flop is QQ5cc, CO checks, Cantu bets, CO folds. Cantu rolls AQcx and I'm crushzor'd. Was a great time and I put myself in some advantageous situations. I definitely played fairly showdown-bound with under 15-ish BB and left the spewing to the extremes of my range. Ran up a 110k stack at one point early day 2. I had lots of fun and was glad to have played.
