Have people been hanging on to their weigh losses? Two years in, still good here. Within a couple pounds +/-.
I'm up and down. Around +20 from my lowest after the second challenge we did, but -20 or so from my peak.

So holding on to some of the gains. Count that as a win.

I'm up around 30 from my lowest, but that includes about 10 from work travel and holiday that I shouldn't have too much trouble shedding. The good news is that at least some of the gain is muscle, as I now squat 345, bench 215, row 220, deadlift 370, and overhead press 130 all for 5 reps.

Since last August

good stuff

Yeah, it feels good, although if you asked me a year ago what my musculature would look like aesthetically by the time I got to this point in strength, I'd have had much higher hopes for myself. But I guess most aesthetic appeal is in upper body and most legit strength is in lower body, and it's lower body where I've made the most gains. Oh well. I'm still somewhere around shedding 20 lbs away from being pretty legit hot. But then there's also the appeal of getting up to a 1000 lb total of squat+deadlift+bench...

I should update my garph and annotate it with which br0gram I was on at the time to share here. If any of you br0s want to get strong, it may be hard (in that lifting some heavy ass weight is never going to be easy), but it's not complicated.

Stronglifts 5x5 ftw. Been doing that off and on since May. I struggle making continuous improvement because I'm doing HIIT (with a strength slant) on my dedicated gym days and only doing SL5x5 on average 1-2 nights/week when my wife and I aren't lazy.

Wasn't part of the contest here but did one at work (which I won)... Went from 217 Jan 5th to 193 Mar 30. About 197 now but have added some muscle.

How many deloads to get up to your current weights?
12-04-2015 , 03:12 AM
Looking at my records, I have one full deload after the Christmas break last year, one from when I switched from GSLP to madcow last spring, another full deload after I took 2 weeks off this summer from my honeymoon, and then I had 2 earlier deloads of single exercises (1 squat, 1 deadlift). So, depending on how you count it, bout 3.50ish?

Lift heavy things. Lift heavier things. When they get too heavy, lift slightly lighter things. Lift heavier things. Profit.

I am probably going to do a 90 day weight loss challenge live locally in January and wouldn't mind doubling that with another round on here if anyone wants to do it again. I think our original structure works pretty well if anyone wants to do it again.

I just did a 5 week tune up challenge to survive the Holidays and dropped 11 pounds which I fully expect to put back at least half of that between now and new years.

Excellent. The job is great, the family has adapted wonderfully and the weather doesn't suck. It really couldn't have gone any better.

I've even managed to work myself into a great community poker league and am already running it with the guy who founded it.

All is good.

I can't believe it has been two years already.

That's awesome.

I'm not in for another prop bet, but I'll follow/encourage. If there's anything folks need to help with threads, lmk.

Wow. I'm impressed. I remember a while back you were posting numbers in the 1xx range for the big three.

Row is bent over row?

I gave back everything I lost from the last challenge and am up for another one. Need something to motivate me to get out in the cold again, or at least onto the treadmill at the new place in Denver.
