Equating young girls with high maintenance fleshlights would be missing the point since it's pretty much an observational fact that ALL women are high maintenance fleshlights. Geminevik's claim is basically that some fleshlights are better than others and that I've been pursuing the wrong ones. He may be right. When I'm in my 50's and chasing 30 year olds, I'll report back to him to confirm his wisdom.

I must respectfully disagree in some regards. The aforementioned "girls" are more like FleshLights than the coveted "women" who would be more akin to F**k Machines. A FleshLight does not add energy to the equation but merely reflects your energy (all the "work" is done by you). I can assure you wholeheartedly that this is not the case with a real "woman" sir (although I can't personally vouch for F**k Machines).

I'm not taking that bet/fold line on the river quite as much at 10/20 and 15/30 as I do at 30/60.

The only STD's I've knowingly contracted so far are chlamydia and mono. Given the high sluttiness factor of the girls I've been with I think it's a virtual lock that I've contracted other diseases like genital herpes and genital warts. Luckily or I should say apparently, I am asymptomatic with regards to those viruses. Not surprising since the majority of people who contract HSV2 and HPV show no symptoms.

I was very tempted to join this site under the assumption that I already have these STDs and am just asymptomatic, but then I realized this site's not free, so there went that option. It would've been another great example of exploiting an inefficiency in the dating market.

If no one here steps up, you might head over to Neverwin for such an exchange.

Check in the Stars regs thread, but I think you will probably have a tough time. Action is just dying on AP.

IMO ever since they changed the ARPS... The reduction of benefits caused alot of players to go BUSTO. I mean the ones that stayed a float with all the benefits. Now its been a couple months and without those benefits the players are going broke and traffic is going to hell. I hated the tables I saw all last week and pulled a ILP... I played 3k hands last week. Of course my new plan is to play 3k hands a week and luckbox my way 8bb/100... Last week was sick good.

Let's talk about WHY the action is dying on AP... We could blame it on the economy, but that would be kinda silly because it likely hasn't impacted many of the "good customers" any more over the last few weeks than it did over the last few months, and the sharp decline in action seems to be just in the last few weeks. Could it be the new prop rules that took effect? Is it FAME?

I thought the new prop rules would help the games, forcing players to create games on specific schedules. I'm wondering if there's something I overlooked here.

I don't have the foggiest idea what you guys are talking about.

It just seems to me that if you constantly have 2 or 3 (or 4 or 5) tough, aggressive players sitting down first at all hours of the day and night, 7 days a week, that the 'recreational player that joins in is not gonna fare too well.

After awhile, he goes elsewhere, or goes titsup (thats like catsup, or ketchup). Every time one of those unfortunate fellows disappears, it becomes less attractive for those of his ilk to come swimmin onto the reef.

I am seeing 1 or 2 'regulars' playing 12-14 hour days, 6 or 7 days a week. It never occurs to them they are fouling their own water.

It is kinda like stickin the golden hand up the backward end of the goose, to coin a phrase.

Anybody have a clue what I am gettin at?

well yeah there's a cycle. if there's less and less new money coming into the games, the games are getting tougher and tougher and the rate at which any new money comes in disappears is getting higher. you bring a fish with $500 into 5/10 to 15/30 at AP in the current conditions and he's a ****ing massive, massive loser at just about any table he sits now that every table has a minimum of 2 good players sitting at it.

i mean the games are so bad that at any time of day you can find a mid limit game where every player is between a 1bb/100 loser (pretty average lagtag) and a breakeven or possibly slight winner. we play on a site where any kind of positive winrate is pretty rare, and the rake at 10/20+ on AP isn't much higher (if at all) than it is anywhere else.

Yeah this phenomena is better known as tragedy of the commons. The only way to cancel out this effect is to have a constant inflow of new fish.

TheHip usually makes sure to have the highest amount at any table. My current hypothesis is that he's trying to overcompensate for an inadequacy in penis size. The only way I could verify this hypothesis is if I interviewed some of his ex-girlfriends on myspace. Unfortunately in this instance I care more about social mores than truth.

something no one mentioned is the BBJ. i have seen it posted on several forums that the 0.5/1-2/4 limit BBJ tables are basically unbeatable with the additional drop. now not only are the mid-limit fish just dying instantly when they sit at the mid-limit games, the low-limit fish who deposit $100 or so and play the BBJ tables have an even smaller chance to run it up. combine all of these factors with the scandal scaring people away, and i think it's starting to get clearer and clearer why the games are drying up. the only thing we can look forward to is the merge and outside factors that will bring more fish money into the site.
