on a side note, can you imagine if the neighbors were black, and instead of calling them zipperheads, he called them the N word for two hours. there is no way that movie would get released. and it's sad, because this is a pretty good portrayal of a korean war vet that hates everyone that isn't white

Is this movie really worth seeing? It sounded like a movie about a 95 year old kicking a bunch of 20 year old asses. I guess I'll give it a chance if you say it's good. Also I never heard of the term zipperhead before. Had to look that one up.

The only Clint Eastwood movie I ever really liked was "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly". God I love that song. So chilling. Plus this movie produced probably the greatest scene in movie history. Again more chilling music. (For those who haven't seen this movie, Clint Eastwood, (the good) is the only one who knows the name of the grave the money is buried in.)

just know this going in, there are only 3 real actors in the movie, and everyone else sucks at acting.

the priest, the barber, and clint all give masterful performances.

all the chinese people are at varying levels of cringworthy.

this isn't the greatest movie you will ever see, but it's got heart, and it's pretty funny too.

Yea its definitely worth seeing, but imo it's not a great movie. Clint Eastwood was pretty damn good and I really liked the character.

I agree with your review of the asians, but lol at the priest and the barber being good. I guess the barber was pretty funny, but the priest was so mega-tooled out from start to finish

I would be interested in giving those movies a try. When I did a search I found that "Pink Flamingos" was ranked #29 on some 50 films to see before you die list. Not sure how much I like that list though, since I hated the #1 movie, Apocalypse Now.

When I was reading the plot summary of "Female Trouble" I came across this bizarre sequence:

"Peterson drives Davenport to a dump, where they have sex. When she becomes pregnant and demands money from him, he tells her, "Go **** yourself", which Divine had indeed done by playing both roles."

Sounds pretty weird but I'd see it if TheHip would see it. (I don't like watching movies alone)

Apocalypse Now is a good movie if you analyse it. The first time i saw it i found it boring.
