HSLHE, MSSH, SSSH, L2NL, and HU have like a combined 10 posts in the last month. uSLHE is not far behind.

I think the debate earlier this year was rightly about whether there should be two LHE subforums or just one.

I think that I'd like one forum for them all, tbh, as long as the threads are titled properly. I get the insomnia, need stuff to read, and the internet's boring lately. Nothing new on the entire internet and I've looked.

Totally disagree. I think the mid stakes forum has more than enough content. If it was cluttered with 25c/50c online hands I doubt I'd read/post at all.

OK, but I'd just skip the ones that wouldn't interest me. I'm so bored sometimes that I read posts in the Stud forum from a player that posts .25/.50/$2 tourney hands.

Somebody's got to come up w/ something new.

IMO if people have threads in mind already they should bump them with some kind of unique, searchable term like LHEkeep or keepthis or dougsucksdonkeyballs.

If the forum was renamed from "Limit Texas Hold'em" to "Fixed Limit Texas Hold'em" (and if the new subforums also carried the word "Fixed"), does anybody think it might have any impact on the number of NL hands that get posted in the wrong place?

The idea sounds good. Might work.

IMO, moving the LHE forums below the NL forums would help. Word on the street is that will only happen after the NL forums are re-organized.

I beleive the reason the side bar is in the order it is now is that the forums are old enough that NL was a tiny variation of poker not found much beyond MTTs, and thus "poker" at the time meant LHE, the most popular variant.

It's from a time when "poker" meant tournament NLHE but cash games were still mostly LHE

First three IMO.

This is all off the top of my head...
Kathy Liebert won first one when it was $1M to first and like $70k to 2nd, they obv chopped.

Erick Lindgren won 2nd one.

Schneids won 3rd one, then it was over?


Also, the opening event of the WSOP used to be like a $2k-$3k LHE and was the second largest event each WSOP behind the main event. This was again late 90s and early 2000s.

The WSOP womens event was also limit 7 card stud for awhile, then LHE, then finally NLH in the mid 2000s.

Time for research to prove me right.
