Seriously I'm kinda sick and wondering if I should just go home.

UTG limps Table captain raises UTG+1. He's raised blind UTG twice (no straddle allowed) and declares "no jacks please dealer". Two fish cold call and I call AJ red in the SB. BB folds 5 ways.

Confirm if I win 7 racks today as discussed on the "telephone" live poker is completely and utterly luck based.

Srsly I can't remember calling 2 cold in the SB with an offsuit un paired hand and donking one pair ever.

I like cc preflop.

Donking is pretty bad with any hand on this flop. I honestly don't know how it gets checked around 5 ways. So, check and re-evaluate when the action gets back to you. If you think your equity is good, c/r, if you think your equity is suspect, you can just call and see the turn which will drastically change how your equity will be.

Yes but to calculate the effective sickness you have to multiply the sickness by the chance it gets checked through. I think the chance it gets checked through is so low as to have an overall very low effective sickness.

Preflop I couldn't bring myself to 3 bet because I mean who wants to play AJo for 15 small bets 5 handed from the small freaking blind. I probably have an equity advantage but I mean I have the poster child for "don't bring me to a 5 handed party" hand.

The plan on the flop was actually to get the table captain to raise me and then 3-bet him if nobody else seemed interested

Well his little comment about "no jack dealer" to me means it's pretty likely he has a Jack and I have the nut jack so.....I'm thinking he raises a fair bit.

he could raise any jack here, black tens, black eights even. nut flush draws. though i'd be careful when you do this because like, obv you never have a flush here amirite?

Yeah but I could have a set I think.

I've been thinking a lot about donking more in 4+ way pots. I think it has merits in a lot of spots.

I bet routinely in that spot bec I'd puke if it got checked thru, I don't see what's wrong w/ it. I'd like an explanation if somebody cares to give one as to why a lead is wrongish.

The bet is cool in a way because people are folding hands with outs a lot more lightly due to the perception of strength your bet represents. Like red KQ? often saying, nah, not worth it, bail.
I like preflop.
