4/8 kill flop check back in 3 way 3 bet pot

4/8 kill at Muckleshoot.
This hand is not a kill tho

~27 y/o Asian limps. Seems like he knows what he's doing. Weird aggro white guy ~25-30 y/o raises cut off, I 3-bet AhQc on button (I'm white wearing oversized blue beanie, probably look about 26) Blinds fold - three way for 3 bets.

Td 8d 4c

I check back.

How likely is this lineup to donk if they hit toppest pair or better?

This is a specific age for ~. Seems to know what he's doing, while limping in EP? Good game.

The way to start looking at the hand is to look at ranges. What range does "seems to know what he's doing" limp, then smooth call your 3 bet? What part of that range decides not to donk T84. All of it is a fine answer, but could depend on your villain. Same questions for your CO. What hands does he raise/call and then check the flop.

Why did you check back?

There are some exceptions but generally any hand that I 3 bet pre-flop I will bet the flop with when checked to.

Against 2 players, I continuation bet almost always. At 4/8, a 3 bet looks like a big pair - continue telling that story with a bet on the flop. Plus, you may have the best hand.

Against three players, I may check back, but not with two. It seems like there's a good chance you have the best hand, and should make them pay to chase.

Just bet for value and treat their actions as honest. They're likely too passive to do anything else at 4/8. Think about turns you're willing to bet if they call and check. There should be a healthy number of check-backs here. Think about the size of the pot and their range if they take aggressive action.
