Surprisingly and mercifully the count stopped at 1.

A+++ would be engulfed in darkness again. Just spent the last half hour Googling Antarctic cruises for December 8, 2021.

Hope the weather cooperated for you leo doc.

Been a while, gentlemen.

So I moved recently to a low-poker-traffic area and have this to report about the local casino (Black Bear):

They mainly spread 2-10 and 2-20.

The 2-20 is soft as kitten tits.

Full action all the way down with several fun players on a TTJ board whilst holding KT on the button. Bloodbath and standard all night. Only reason we were up a few racks instead of 10 is the standard one-two outers and runner-runner perfect in a few key spots.

Carry on folks.

The "I almost won 8 racks but I only won 2.5" blows :/

On a side note I got slow/rick rolled at live LHE. Villain is a fun player.

UTG limps, I limp 33 b/c it was an off the chain table, two calls, fun player calls the button, blinds call/check.

Flop K 3 9.

check to me I bet, two calls, fun player raises, blinds/limper fold, I 3bet, other players fold, fun player calls.

Turn 5.

I bet he, he raises, I 3bet in stride, he slowly calls.

River 8.

I bet, he tanks.........hems and haws..........says "I have a King too"..............."What's your kicker?"...........I shrug and say I don't have a King.............He shows the King.............I think damnit he's not really going to fold is he?..............

"I raise one time."

Our hero was vanquished and lol lost to the flush. I've never gotten a speech at 8/16 live and certainly not one that lasted that long .

To make matters worse he decided to hand those chips to another player who shortly thereafter called it quits for the night. GG.

Not a cloud in the sky. Totality, there is no substitute.

I've never heard of 2/20 at black bear before.

Place is yooge though, truly a sight to behold. Or at least it was in 2002
Everyone knows dealers aren't actually people, though, so I'm surprised he even got a 20 minute timeout.

First showdown at Comnerce and someone tried to angle me. Announced a hand, put chips half way out, but didn't release them and tried to get me to either muck or expose my hand before he called. Nice try, but not today.

Place was big, but wasn't as impressive as I was expecting. I only had one abusiveish player at my table in 5 1/2 hours, most everyone else was nice but pretty quiet. The rules on talking about hands and playing in turn were also optional at best as advertised.

I'll be back next time I'm in town, but only if I get two nights or a later inbound flight. I was beat from traveling, and playing my C game at best, but held on to my chips anyway and somehow left stuck for only 1/2 a rack.

Well, that's disgusting, as per usual.

I'm sitting in the backyard, 85 degrees and a clear blue sky, hoping that the hurricane comes our way w/ a modest rainfall.

ha - I don't watch LATB religiously, but it seems whenever I do catch it, something like that happens.

The recent 3-way all-in on flop was so gross...IIRC it was
A6s
76
T7
on 77-something with two of the appropriate suit. They run it twice and the guy with the dominated trips with one of his outs dead hits the 6 on each runout and scoops.

Seems like a sure bet, although with boxing you never know.

Always like a 0.3% chance Macho Man Randy Savage jumps into the ring, knocks out the ref, and then calls a quick 3-count when McGregor pins Mayweather.

8-16 v. a 2p2 type who I know has an account here but don't know his lurking activity. We played this hand (I have the 6 4). After I made a flush and lost I said 'I wonder what the equity was?' Well, here it is, and next time I see you tell me if you saw it.

Like once every few months I have one of those glorious days where I have so many racks of chips that I have to wheel them to the cage on a food trolley. Today my friends was one of those days. And it was glorious.

Probably less than .3% considering Macho Man passed away in 2011.

Still love it when Tolbert does his Macho Man voice.

Where you look like a T. rex waddling to the cage with what appears to be comically undersized arms?

I'm not sure if this is a brag or a beat, but I've never had so many chips that I couldn't carry them all.

I bought in for 5 racks (standard) and cashed out 14. No way in hell I am going to try to carry that many racks. 8 is probably the max I can carry. And coloring up just seems bad.

Buying in for 5 racks seems pretty silly. Do they not allow rebuys? Not coloring up is even sillier, and inconsiderate to those sitting next to you. You're either going to be invading their space or making it a problem for them to see.
08-26-2017 , 02:58 PM
Good that's what they get for sucking at poker.
08-26-2017 , 03:03 PM
I don't even know the point of not buying in huge. I've had many -65 bet hours before. You really want to be doing a walk of shame after like 30 minutes?

Are you playing 8/16 with $1 chips or something?

And why aren't you selling off chips at the table or coloring up? What's bad about that?

Also, I've no idea how poker pros can ever get out of shape. I'm not playing today, and I've so much free time on my hands, that I'm doing a sizable gym workout.
