I went to Stowe in vt over the weekend. Mt Mansfield is pretty and majestic imo. Also played some dealers choice on Friday night with my brother and my sisters boyfriend. I scooped it except for $1 which my bro managed to salvage.
I want what I can't have: one of the waitresses w/ a great butt. It's a torture watching her walk that butt around and knowing I've got zero chance.
Next time she brings you a drink, turn to the guy next to you and say "You wouldn't believe how much it costs to insure a Mercedes in Fountain Hills. Plus, I have to pay a surcharge because I'm SINGLE!"
O8, I'm in s1 and not in hand. S2 has the clear high and a live 7 or something with 4 low cards on board. S6 has a live 3 and the dealer wants to push the whole thing to s2. I say it's a chop, s2 says it's a chop but dealer is adamant AS IS S6. Like, we each say multiple times and they both argue so we both shrug and give up. Next hand

DO YOU HEAR THE PEOPLE SING? SINGING THE SONGS OF ANGRY MEN, IT IS A MUSIC OF A PEOPLE WHO WILL NOT BE SLAVES AGAIN!
I posted some nonsense about handreading in the theory forum for anyone interested. I would've put it here but I think the process is applicable to all games that involve handreading.

I play O8 sometimes and I hear the phrase live 3 or live 7, but never understood what it meant. Can you explain? I'm assuming its a quicker way to determine best low? I sometimes struggle with finding the best low when 2 players have lots of overlapping cards with the board.
Three of us arrive at the casino at about the same time, two villains in front of me.
V1 opens the door, and neither holds it open for us nor does he even hold it open behind him so V2 and I don't have to open it again. I'm sure leo doc would lol but standard in California.
V2 sees this happen, and rushes forward, arches his back, and slithers through the crack, letting the door slam in my face, which is pretty lol even by Californian standards.
It's a set of double doors, so I get to witness this twice. V2 might have even clipped his elbow on the door.
Once inside the casino, V2 sprints ahead of V1 so he can be first on the list.
I pass by the security guard, return his hello, and roll my eyes. He gets it and laughs with me.
All three of us - V1, V2, and me - end up getting called at the same time for a new game.
Standard day of poker. So far I've lost to a royal flush twice (both in o8) a straight flush once, had AA flopped quads and lost to a different straight flush and got dealt pat quads jacks in Archie which lost to bigger quads. Seems unlikely
