Wow, has anyone seen this latest Ignition update? No list of tables anymore, just some kind of quick seating thing.

I was playing yesterday at like 6AM EST on a 5handed table; on the direct right of a spewy fish, when the guy to his left got up. It occurred to me that I should also stand up, wait 5 minutes, and then take that spot. Of course, people can and have done this in the past, but there was always the significant risk that some other player or somebody railing the game could take that spot. Now, with nobody knowing what games are running, people will have no knowledge that there's currently a sweet seat available and those 5 minutes are more likely to run through without somebody taking your spot.

I've always been opposed to such behavior (probably somewhat irrationally so), and I didn't do it, but it's certainly more tempting under this format.

Obviously, the update is bad for winning players for a bunch of other reasons, but the above is a bit of a silver lining I suppose.

The bitcoins are pretty sweet, though. Reminds me just a tiny bit of NetTeller. God I miss that ****.

But how do you know it'll put you in that seat or even on the same table?
