existing accounts

I signed up w/FTP and UB before I knew Rake Back existed. Is it possible to start getting rake back with these accounts or do I need to switch to new sites?
Cheers

Re: existing accounts

This is more or less my situation. I have never deposited at UB, so they won't know I'm the same guy (by the credit card number) if I blank my cookies and create a new account. But FTP will; I only have the one card.

If I completely shut down my current account, though, will they be happy enough to get me back that they'll hook me up with sweet, sweet rakeback?

Stars's VIP/FPP program is a good way to lessen the sting of the rake, but it's not really a valid substitute for just getting 25% or so of the rake deposited back in your account.

Re: existing accounts

Hello,

Rakeback is only available for the first personal account you open to a poker room. Duplicate accounts are generally against poker room terms and conditions, and subject to be closed upon detection. Unfortunately moving existing poker room accounts to rakeback is not possible. Rakeback is paid from the affiliate commission that we get from poker rooms for referring new players to their site, that are tagged with our affiliate code. Existing poker accounts are not tagged with our affiliate code, so we do not get commission of your rake that would enable us to pay rakeback.

If you are interested in any other rakeback deals, please view this list: http://www.rakeback.com/

Ok, all my money has always been at PokerStars, I like Stars and will continue there. However, I opened an account (but made no deposit) at FTP a while ago (~18-24 months ago). I played some freerolls, play money, railed some high-rolling pros etc. basically "kicking the tires."

If I were to make a deposit on FTP how might I get rakeback at this point? Would it be possible?

Thanks in advance.

Hey rwh53,

Even if you never deposited there Full Tilt will not allow you to move your existing account to our affiliate tracker. We were not the ones who brought you to Full Tilt you found them yourself, its that simple

Thanks. That blows.

If I assert some pressure might it work? What do they have to lose....I'll make a deposit it....etc.

Any experience in that area ?

You can always try to "assert some pressure" as you say but chances are close to zero

Re: existing accounts

How stupid is FTP? They are turning away customers by not giving them rakeback. They must not like money

Hello MMSantana,

I moved your question to this thread because this question was already discussed here. Please check my post number 5 in this thread.

Re: existing accounts

It is possible to get rakeback on FTP even if you already have an account on the site. PM me if you need more info.
