Re: Ask Rakeback.com a question...

Been playing poker for decades. Stepped away for a few years and just getting back to playing online. I plan to put in a lot of time. A few questions I still have after browsing 2+2 site for the better part of a week. Thanks in advance for your response

Rakeback- Can one be a member with more than one rakeback company? Your company doesn't work with some sites I'm interested in. For example Cake Poker and Sportsbook Poker and a couple others. How can I capitilize on rakeback with all sites? or can I?

Bonus' and rakeback- I plan on signing up for several sites and obviously the bonus upon deposit is very attractive. I'm getting mixed messages as to what step to take first. Poker listings tells me to download the site and use their code. Rakeback companies say before downloading sign up with them. If I do that how does that effect the sign on bonus. Obviously, I just want to sign up and maximize the bonus, and the rakeback etc. Is there some standard way for signing up for a site like Ultimate bet or Full Tilt. These are sites I've never played on. Can you pretend I'm a derelict and give me a simple step by step process and any recommendation for signing up?

Hello JohnnyMoon,

Of course you can be a member of two different rakeback companies (websites).

Unfortunately we do not provide rakeback for Cake Poker and Sportsbook Poker but we are planning to expand the list of poker rooms where rakeback will be available. Right now all what we can offer is listed on the main page: http://www.rakeback.com

Talking about rakeaback and bonus, you can have both, but in order to have rakeback it is important to create your first account at some poker room through our website and then after successful creation you can go and make a deposit using a poker room bonus code. But please be aware that most poker rooms deduct all your bonus or part of it from your rake which will lead to smaller rakeback. Still it is worth it to have both.

Hello,
are you planning to do rake races @ Doyles Room Poker every month or those are one time events? If so what prize pool can I expect this May?

Hello JustADreamer,

We cant tell you right now for sure if we will run those rake races every month, I recommend you to check our promotions page: http://www.rakeback.com/promotions/ from time to time in order to get fresh information about our rake races.

Re: Ask Rakeback.com a question...

I have an account on FTP, but I've only used it for free until now--there haven't been any financial transactions at all.

1. Can I sign up for rakeback with this account, before depositing any money;

and

2. If not, would creating a different profile be a problem? I know this question was asked in another post, but because there's no identifying information (bank account etc), it seems like the circumstances are different enough for this to be viable.

Hello wadadli24 and BK1248,

Full Tilt Points used on the site or in the store are deducted at a rate of $0.005 per point directly from your rake before rakeback is calculated. This could lead to a big negative rakeback balance. Negative rakeback amounts are not paid back and are rolled over to the next rakeback calculations. In this case you will start receiving your rakeback payments only when you will be back positive.

Hello isfour,

Rakeback is only available for the first personal account you open to a poker room. Duplicate accounts are generally against poker room terms and conditions, and subject to be closed upon detection. Unfortunately moving existing poker room accounts to rakeback is not possible. Rakeback is paid from the affiliate commission that we get from poker rooms for referring new players to their site, that are tagged with our affiliate code. Existing poker accounts are not tagged with our affiliate code, so we do not get commission of your rake that would enable us to pay rakeback.

Also creation of two accounts per person is against Full Tilts Terms and Cons, even if you will try to fake your identity one day they will find it and deactivate your account.

If you are interested in any other rakeback deals, please view this list: http://www.rakeback.com/

Re: Ask Rakeback.com a question...

Hello Ammo,

You will have rakeback for your Full Tilt account for sure only if it would be your first ever account at Full Tilt and it will be opened through this page: http://www.rakeback.com/full-tilt-poker/ where all 3 instructions must be followed by you. After all these steps we will contact you back and will tell you if your Full Tilt rakeback deal creation was successful or not.
