Hi, I gather there's some support for this now. Is chat supposed to show up in the chat box on the replayer? It would be a useful way to make notes on a hand. In fact even better would be if you could type into the chat box while replaying the hand and have it write on to the backup file so you can see your notes next time you come back to it.

I'm very happy to announce that Universal Replayer has a new developing team.

Thanks to Remì (UR creator) Universal Replayer has a new life.

Now the Universal Replayer team is composed of two people, one for developing and another one (me) for all the other stuff.

The new version of the replayer is ready and has a several enanchements.

1. support for the new Ongame software (P5)
2. support for the Full Tilt hand history
3. fixed the support of the hand history of PokerStars (the first hand wasn't showed)
4. fixed a little bug with Party Poker
5. support for the Omaha with the new Ongame software (P5)
6. several minor bug fixes.

I hope to be online with the new website very soon unfortunately we had some problem with the old website that is causing some delay.

We hope you enjoy our effort, don't forget that UR will remain absolutely free, but if you want to support us you can made a donation.

We also need your support to create a better software and when the new web site will be ready we can start to talk about it.

for some reason it's not working when i drag full tilt HHs into the replayer. every other site is working but when i try full tilt it says:

it worked when i took several txt files and pasted the contents into one, but now i'm trying that again and it's not working

^^^ Look back in this thread, you need to save the text files in a different format for them to work.

I had a quick play around but didn't get it working.

I'm not sure if it only works with Italian hh files.

Can't be fixed because isn't a bug. If you check in the hand history you'll find that Ipoker has always all player at the table.
The player not involved start with 0 chips.
Below is an example of an head's up hand history on ipoker.it

The software is the same as the oldest one but with all the update mentioned.
It works only with english hand history.
Java 6 update 20 or 21 is needed.
It works with the same game as the old version plus Omaha for the new Ongame/P5 software.
For that hh choose P5network as poker room.

Error details during installation (Vista)

It seems a Java error, please remove all the old version of UR.
Then reinstall the latest java.
Finally download the new version.
Let me know if it solve the problem.
(don't forget to accept the java security prompt).

Seems to be a permissions error with Vista.

The installation crashed between downloading and extracting skins.

Removed old version, downloaded new version, same crash.

Ran the shortcut under the start button as administrator and it seems to be working now.

does anybody know how I can change the location of the Main Storage Folder? I tried to delete and re-install but everytime UR puts a link onto my desktop together with a folder. But I really would like to have the folder someplace else :/ Any solutions?

Uninstall the software using the Java icon in the control panel.
Remove the UR directory.
Remove the popopop xml file.
Install the new version of the software and, if you removed correctly all the old part, the installation procedur ask you where to put the UR directory.

Thanks for the help. Apparently the culprit is the configuration file called "URpreferences.xml". It might be a good idea to put it into the UR folder so that it can easily be deleted as well if one wants to do so. Most Windows users probably don't expect it to be in the profile folder.

UP has been working for me and now I get this error. When I try to reinstall UP, I get the same error.

Thank you very much for your work! The java-bug messing up the screen has demolished completely.

One minor question: are you planning to make it possible to replay 8game hands? Because now it just shows 2 of your cards, no matter what games you were playing. (I was shocked I folded KQ in LHE, then I realized it was O8 ) However, any other games (including HORSE) it replays perfectly, if it wasn't 8game. Also as far as I know, the old version didn't support 2-7 TD, maybe that's the problem.
