I had it runnining on OS 10.5 perfectly (you must have java 6 installed) until a couple of months ago when it started crashing when importing hand histories. Figured that the problem was FTP changing the way it records HHs and fixed the histories with a script from this forum yesterday. When I launched popopop it started to download very slowly, but this morning it had downloaded. Still crashes on import though but I haven't tried removing all the old HHs or renaming files etc.

Hi folks,

Just wondering if anyone knew of alternative download sites for Popopop? Their site (http://www.universal-replayer.net/download) seems to be down/incredibly slow.

Any help much appreciated.

I apologize if this has been asked a million times or is common knowledge, but I'm looking for software to graphically replay tournaments at Pokerstars. Can anyone recommend software for this, preferably freeware? Thanks.

It does get asked often, so I merged your thread with this thread. I found this thread by searching the software forum for 'Tournament Replay' and it was one of the first 3 threads I believe. Popopop is the most popular replayer, although I am sure there are others out there as well.

Hmm I just downloaded it, and was trying to go over some 18 man SnG's, however for some reason it seems (i think when i change tables, to final table) it changes to a completely different tournement. Not sure whats wrong, I got them out of the HEM's archives, anyone had this happen before?

Is anyone having trouble using the Replayer since Full Tilt's update? For some reason I can't seem to access a single hand that I've played post-update.

Is anyone having issues with the replayer ever since Full Tilt's update?

This is very confusing, but ever since the update, PokerTracker is working fine, but the replayer won't pull in any new files. It scans them, but it won't convert them. And the really, really weird thing about it, is you can manually convert files with the replayer, but when I ask it to convert a specific recent session through it's file it won't do it, but when I cut and paste the text straight from the file into its text converter it does do it.

Anyone else having these problems, or know what I can do to fix it?

Im unable to convert any hands post update. I get the message "No file was found" when trying to convert hands.

The hands from before the update I was able to convert though.

yes Full Tilt hand history will not load,,,,,,everything worked perfectly before the updates by FT,,,,,FUll Tilt either fix the problem or go back to the old system,,,,BTW send 15 emails to Popopop to rectify but not one single reply,,,,,so Full Tilt Developers if 3rd software are not available how in the world are they going to rectify the problem,,,,you Full Tilt smart guys should be responsible to ensure that when making changes that the 3rd party software work just like before!!!!!!!!!

Full Tilt perhaps you haven't noticed you have tons of unhappy customers how are outraged of what you have done!!!!!,,,,,,,and it isn't getting better unless you rectify this problem immediately!!!!!,,,this is your obligation to all of your loyal customers that have played on your site for many years,,,,,,as for me if this replayer is not solved soon i will withdrawl my funds and be playing at other poker sites,,,,,,and i'm sure i will not only be the only one!!!!,,,,,,,remember Full Tilt its your custmers that keep you in business,,,so i recoomend you take all thier request seriosly!!!!

BTW there is a petition from a lot of players on this forum that want the old system back,,,perhaps you should c\osider this request!!!!!!!!!!

Hello

Recently, I have been using popopo's universal hand history replayer to do session reviews of games played at Full tilt poker. After one of the updates, however, the replayer will not play the hands any more. Any other options for free hand history replayers? (Keep in mind that I'm not talking about the console replayer included within FTP.)

Can anyone advise any other free hand replayers similar to popopops that work with the new Full Tilt update?

Having the same exact problem...Compared a bunch of HH files but couldn't find any differences in the layout per say, must be something else but I'm no programing monster. If anyone knows of an easy patch to this problem, a solution would be more than welcome by many here, I think. Thanks in advance.

This replayer has been a huge part of my growth as a player by enabling me to analyse complex hands after many sessions, and still is. If this is not fixed very soon, I seriously plan on moving back to Poker Stars until they do fix it.

Good news!

I have found a way to get the hands converted from Full Tilt!

Its a really silly way in my opinion which doesnt make any sense to me but it works!

So here is what I did.

I opened the HH folder from Full Tilt where all my HHs are stored.
I opened my latest sessions .txt document.
I went to edit and selected highlight all and copied the whole content of the doc.
I went to another folder and created a new .txt doc and pasted the content in that.
I opened Popopops converter and tried to convert the new .txt doc... and what do you know it worked.

I think its already been asked, but it would be great if copied HH from holdemmanager could be pasted into the replayer.

Is this possible atm ? under development ?

is really work this way,but is kind of hard to paste every SNG from HH to new txt.doc when you have thousands HHs.
Another problem i got is i cant make short cut so every time i have to go to Universal replayer site to start replayer.
