Universal replayer doesnt start up when I press "start download now"

Seems lika java applikation doesnt load.

Did you add an exception on java security settings? Otherwise Java doesn't run self signed application.

I have not changed anything.

Can u explain how to do this plz.

hi guys ,
after a long frustrating time i found a soultion:

1. have the newest java version installed,(java 8u31 at the moment)
2. download universal replayer and run it regularly until u reach that point with the select folder where just nothing happens.
press ok and completely close universal replayer
3. create a folder where skins etc should be stored
(example /Users/"yourusername"/UReplayer )
3. go to /Users/"yourusername"/URPreferences.xml and open with textedit
4.now add these 2 lines (i think it doesnt matter where exactly but i out it exaxctly like in my windows version):

5. save and close textedit
6. run universal replayer again and it should work .

Hey, can't get UR to run on my Mac (OS X 10.7.5). I get the following error message: "java.lang.nullpointerexception".

Already updated Java, updated Mac and reinstalled the UR, but still doesn't work. Putting the error message into google I get a ton of answers but I don't understand a single thing these IT experts are talking about.

Can anyone explain it to me in simple words?

With Java's new update they don't allow a 'Medium strength' security setting so I can't open universal replayer is there any way around this?

This worked for me....

Added the site http://www.universal-replayer.net to the exception list

Control Panel -> Java
Then Security tab -> Edit Site list -> Click the Add button

Ensure to enter the whole

not just www.universal-replayer.net

Recently changed laptops and when I downloaded universal replayer and tried to convert the history in doesnt allow me to launch.

Iv tried numerous files and I either get a message that comes up saying parsing data or parsing date and no valid hands found.

Any ideas?

Ooops sorted it, if anyone else has this problem just change the poker room.

I've created a few live hands using the HHX - HH Builder found at www.hhxpoker.com. However, I can't seem to get them to inport into the Universal Hand replayer.

I have the exported text it gives me saved as a .txt file and a .xml file.

Won't import. Please help!

I’m having a problem. I am unable to download universal replayer. I have the latest version of Java and I've added an exception to allow the website. It gets to the point of extracting the skins in the download process and then says it is unable to launch application and then when you click on the details it says
Error: Unexpected exception: Java.lang.NullPointerExceptioin. Any ideas on how to get around this issue?

I downloaded the replayer today on mac, I had it all sorted and working. I then quit the application when I shut down my computer and now it wont load again, it comes up with 'unable to launch the application' and give me this error code..

Hey, great software. After following all the tutorials, and added the security extension to Java correctly as on the YouTube video, it still gets the security risk message., so adding it to the exception list didn't work for me, any ideas? + glad to be donating if i can get this to work.

My uv fails on open. I click it and what looks like the CMD opens for abouat a tenth of a second and dissapears and nothing further happens. Thoughts?

I don't think this is being supported anymore. I could be wrong, but it's been quite some time.
