Poker Trillion (Everleaf network) Handhistory converter

Hi,

I've been playing on Poker Trillion for a week or two and was annoyed by the fact that there is no PT/HEM support. So I wrote a tool that will convert Poker Trillion (or any other Everleaf network site) hand histories to the PokerStars hand history format, so you can import them as PokerStars hands in PT2/PT3/HEM.

A screenshot:

To my amazement PT3 even recognizes the tables so you can use the HUD!

You can download the converter here: http://www.knot.be/EverleafHHConverter.jar

You will need Java if you do not currently have this installed: http://www.java.com/getjava

Feedback is welcome.

HEM automatically detects tables. Not sure if the HUD is able to find players' stats yet.

Re: Poker Trillion (Everleaf network) Handhistory converter

...i'm going to guess not, since it aborts converting instantly, leaving me with a 0 byte file .. guess i'll have to seperate almost a year of hand history out .. sigh.

.. i just trimmed out my files down to just the new format, which started with the August 27, 08 files .. and it's still just stopping after only a few files. Also, is the format that it converts to supposed to have no CRs ?

Apparently it's choking on my 7-Stud games. Can you get the program to ignore or parse 7 stud, without just flat out stopping?

(i'm not super familiar with java.. is there some way i can access the source code and make changes?)

Re: Poker Trillion (Everleaf network) Handhistory converter

also, halts on Limit hold'em, and when it does halt, it locks the file that it stopped on, so i have to close the program, move the file, then restart the program.. and it doesn't remember the locatiosn that i fed it last time, so since im using it with p4e rather than trillion, i have to re-enter ..

just letting you know of the pitfalls i'm running into here.. it looks like it works really well for the places that it does work, i'd like to be able to use it until everleaf support is official

Re: Poker Trillion (Everleaf network) Handhistory converter

...i was also just playing on a 10-seat table, with 3 players, and PT was only picking up stats for 1 of the 3 .. not sure if/how much that has affected any other stats, if there may be some bugs there. It looks to be working fantastically for 6-seat games .. but the converter converted over 20,000 hands, and PT only shows that I've got around 19,000... and it was missing my numbers on the 10-seat game .. so i'm thinking that maybe it's not picking up all the stuff in 10-seat games.

Re: Poker Trillion (Everleaf network) Handhistory converter

could be an issue because stars games tend to have 9 seats full ring and PT might know that and account some how

Re: Poker Trillion (Everleaf network) Handhistory converter

after spending a significant amount of time using it over the last 2 days.. there do seem to be some glitches, where it will not pick up all of the data .. i had a situation yesterday where I was on 3 tables, and it was working fine, and then i noticed that my HUD was showing about $3 off from my actual +/- total for the table.. and then a couple hands later, the auto-import just stopped. I had to hit "Stop" then "Start" every hand to get the importer to pick up anything new.

Also, the HUD is not displaying correctly for situations when there are less than 5 players, and I don't know for sure if this is a problem with the converter or with PT3..

seems to work perfectly when 5 to 10 handed, except for the occasional glitch like i mentioned..

Re: Poker Trillion (Everleaf network) Handhistory converter

not working for me, i select an input and output directory but when i click start, status goes straight to "DONE" without outputting anything. i'm using p4e but it looks like all the everleaf hh's are identical so not sure what my problem is. i use windows xp with the latest version of java installed, if i can get this working i'll definitely donate some money.

edit: tried it on 2nd computer, same problem. also using winxp
