Poker Shortcuts is a software program that provides over 100 useful features for playing on Full Tilt Poker and Poker Stars poker tables. You can define keys/mouse buttons/joystick buttons to perform many common tasks with ease. Customizable On-Screen Displays show useful information about each table at a glance. A graphical user interface provides access to all the features. Whether you play cash games, SnGs or tournaments, Poker Shortcuts reduces your workload so you can play more tables with less effort.

Poker Shortcuts works with Full Tilt Poker and Poker Stars at the same time.

Main Features Include:
  • Define keys (or mouse/joystick buttons) to perform common functions like: fold, call, bet, get chips, open notes, move to next table, tile your tables, PLUS many, many more.
  • Define keys to bet amounts that match your needs (e.g. 75% of pot, 3.5 BB, or All In).
  • The software can prefill the betting box with bet amounts that YOU define for each street. Then, easily adjust the bet amount using the mouse wheel or keys (as the situation at the table dictates)
  • Automatically highlight a table (with a bright colored border) when a table requires your attention
  • Automatically move your mouse to the table that requires your attention
  • Enable "Deal Me In" mode and it will post your blind when the big blind gets to you.
  • Enable "Deal Me Out" mode will sit you out when the big blind comes to you.
  • Define custom on-screen displays that match your needs with over 15 different parameters (#BB, M, #Players Left, Pot Odds, Current Blinds, etc.)
  • Displays can change color based on a parameter (like BB, M, #Players) so you can easily notice critical situations (e.g. bubble situation: set the on-screen display to the color red if there are 4 players left at the table).
  • Works with tiled, stacked, or cascaded tables
  • Define SnGs that you want to have continuously opened for you. Stop opening tables after a set time limit or quantity limit. Set the number of tables that you want the software to keep open for you.
  • Open SnGs with one keystroke
  • Automatically close SnG tables after you finish (so another can be opened)
  • Move a table to a fixed position on your screen so you can temporarily keep an eye on it. This is handy if you are playing with stacked/cascaded tables.
  • Resize all of your tables to any size to specify.
  • Automatically have the software close dialog boxes when they pop up.
  • Auto click the time button for you
  • Support for joysticks is built in
  • Nine program setups can be saved/recalled for different playing scenerios.

There are 20 tabs on the software application. One of them is shown here (click on the ! to see a clearer image).

Poker Shortcuts has been in beta test for about 4 weeks now, and has been used and tested by 10 very generous, under-paid volunteers. (Thank you guys very much !!)

We are now opening up the beta test to everyone that wants to try it. A trial version is available for download on our website. If you are a current user of our FT Shortcuts, you can obtain a temporary code to fully unlock the software. See our order form page for details.

Upgrade information is also available on the order form page.

For people using FT Shortcuts right now, would you mind summarizing the new features in Poker Shortcuts? Or is it the same functionality but also includes PokerStars?

Starshotkeys and TableNinja both have that if I'm not mistaken.
Should have mentioned this myself earlier, very critical component for DoN players.

I am a tester,,,,but all for cash games so I don't have a clue if there is added content for tourneys. It is the added Stars component more than anything that makes this a no-brainer for me. All the megagrinders that play both at the same time will ahhhh-gasm

In fact I remember an email exchange with nano where I said "But this part doesn't work like FTSC".....

That was about one tiny aspect. Everything else is practically identical.

As a side note, nano has worked for many years keeping FTSC uptodate for all of us for no additional charges ($$$). Isn't it about time we toss a few chips his way?

I'll move my questions regarding Poker Shortcuts from the FTS thread over here:

a) I could not find the "Activate Table with Pending Action" that FTS has on the "Actions3" tab. Don't tell me the feature doesn't exist anymore? I really need this for my stacked (4x4) setup to manually activate a table after I minimized the table that needs action or a table just doesn't pop up. Maybe there's an equivalent that I didn't find?

b) For Stars:
How about "automatically click info tab" and "automatically refresh info tab" for tournaments? So that the info tab gets refreshed whenever the table is activated.
Starshotkeys and TableNinja both have that if I'm not mistaken.

Sorry if this is in the OP but I couldnt tell for sure...

Will this allow the table to pop up in order regardless of site? I stack the sites seperately and often I get a bunch of FTP action in a row and time out on a Stars table or two if there's a big decision somewhere in there because if FTP is selected all the ftp tables will pop up next and same with stars

Would it be possible to put them all in the same stack and have it pop up smoothly

Probably will get this anyway but this would make it a lock

Do I have to buy to use on more than one table?

Bit of a catch 22, I won't know if I'll want it unless I can multitable smoothly.

Easy question first.

Muzz, I'll go out on a limb for you...and you alone. If you don't like your multitabling experience using this software, I will refund you the purchase price. Your part of this "bet"::::: when you DL and find what I suspect you will find, you must post your results here. Good deal?

This software is a no-brainer for multitablers. Really.

Two different stacks only. No mixing. Tiling all in no problem if that is your preferred method.

Table activation is based on First come, First served. Doesn't matter which site. Your mouse will jump to the next in line.

I have no working knowledge of tourney play. Maybe nano or one of the tourney testers can step up here.....

FYI:

On the setup page, I recommend setting the mouse positions as:

FTP: 700,515
Stars: 660,485

This will minimize wrist movement.

okay so say I transfer my 2 stacks to the laptop which I often do for bathroom/smoke/go get food breaks during donkaments

theres a little overlap between them since my laptop is small. If the activation should be full tilt, stars, full tilt(within a few seconds of each other) but usually happens full tilt full tilt stars(because on the laptop its slower to type and if I dont fold the 2nd full tilt will happen before Im done with the first) It wont(?) pop the stars up in front of the full tilt but it will(?) move my arrow to the stars table

I tested this while multi-siting.

I did not have good luck stacking (2x2 grid, 2 deep) ftp/stars tables together in the same stack, when I first tried it. I use all the recommended blue features on the Table1 tab to highlight, and move mouse to the active/next-active tables. If I stack stars with stars, and ftp on ftp, then the table action seems to work quite well. I have not tried to stack ftp/stars together since then. I primarily play stars, and this multi-siting was really only for beta testing purposes, as I had never multi-sited in the past. FWIW - I was running Stars Planner in the background, but that didn't help me to sort ftp/stars tables into the stack automatically (so I manually dragged them to different slots). I think most people that stack will want to create a stack layout in FTP for half their tables, and a stack layout in the Stars software for the Stars tables (or use Placemint perhaps).

I am not affiliated with nano or WindyHill. But my thinking is that until ALL (or nearly all) the tweaks are made, there is only the trial available. The full feature program is scheduled for a mid-June launch.

Respawn,

Sorry I misread your original. You are right, that option appears to be missing.

From my own play, I have never had that issue though. My pending tables ALWAYS pops to the front (both FTSC and PSC). If I were to minimize that table while it is pending, it pops back up when the timebank auto-activates. So I don't "get" why you need this action key. Nano will need to chime in about adding it back in.

The one part that changed for me moving to PSC was I now have to toggle (I use F1) to sit out when the next big blind comes around. With FTSC, all I did before was uncheck the FTP box to autopost and FTP would sit me out. With PSC, the box gets repopulated

I haven't tried overlapping. I will test this a bit today and report back.

I also don't have an answer about timing out. Never have....and I 12-16 table, though 8 was the max I tested with PSC. Again, I will test to see what a timeout will do to the queue.

My guess is that a queue is a queue. If you timeout on a pending table, the next in line gets activated. And again, this is not site specific. The next in line is next, regardless of site. Because of all the megatabling shorties on Stars, you can have 10 FTP tables pending before a Stars table becomes pending.....at #11 in the queue.

wat, this is ******ed.

I want to test it multitabling. Let me either buy it outright, or let me test it's full functionality multitabling. I cba wasting my time and money not being able to play more than 1 table with this thing. I'm going to stick to table ninja.

Pretty sure this has always been his method of having a trial version (I realize this is beta, and not exactly the same as a standard trial version). It can be used on any number of play money tables, or only 1 real $ table.

If you would like to test this beta version in trial mode (play money tables OR 1 real money table), you can download it here. No codes are required to use the trial mode.

I tend to agree with you, somewhat. I only play micro stakes, which isn't all that far removed from the play money tables, but I don't like to even test my graphics mods at play money tables.

This will take up two hours of your time this weekend.

1. Download the trial and set it up using the configuration page.

2. Play a play table on each site and tweak PSC til happy.

3. Open up you maximum tables on the play site. If you routinely play 10 tables, then open up 5 Stars and 5 FTP. (or all ten on Stars if you prefer) Play for the second hour.

Time well spent, emo. (I purposely didn't type imo)

I own FTSC; I bought it a few months back. I find it worth the cost, and would be happy to pay for a significant upgrade. I don't think it's unreasonable to ask if any of the new features are in fact relevant for me, though.
