Hey guys, wondering if someone can help me with an issue I'm having with PartyPoker. I've got my layout sorted fine and used Class RegEx #32770 for window identification, the only issue is Placemint wants to move/resize my lobby because it has the same class.

I can't see any ignore option or anything where I can exclude the lobby from being resized and repositioned.

During tournaments on merge if you get a table move it closes the table you were on and then opens a new one. I use ripple forward. As is, say I get a table change in slot 1, it moves to slot 8. When the table change happens the new table opens still in slot 1 before being moved for a slight instant.

If I have this clicked with ripple forward will it open in the same slot 1 or does is still likely go to the end? Then if a table closes entirely it will ripple forward? Would like it stop moving tables until the table is actually closed rather then a table move which it is perceiving as a close.

Is there any way to use the Hotkeys(minimizing/maximizing and maybe moving to a slot) for the PokerStars Lobby without setting a default slot for it(so it wont move automatically to a slot) ???

AntiHer0,
There is a way to make a expression that says "anything but this", but I would need to see examples of Party tables and the Party lobby to be able to make it.

NthingToLose,
Ripple forward is that last thing to happen in the refresh loop. This means that new windows will always be placed in slots before ripple forward makes any changes. There is no way to do this differently.

crapme,
Make a window group just for the lobby. Uncheck Move and Size on the Settings tab for the group. Add one slot to the group. This will allow PlaceMint to track the window, but not try to position it. You can then use the window group hotkeys to minimize the window.

.
The same thing happens if you use RegEx #32770 for Stars and Pacific and probably any other network. Placemint just resizes the lobby as well as the windows.

No idea how to fix this tho.

#32770 is the default class name for a Windows dialog box. It is possible for programs to define their own class name, but many do not. This is part of the reason why using just a class expression may not be sufficient when there is not a unique class name.

Is it possible to use partial-title matches? Eg title of the window must contain the word 'table'?

I've been fiddling around all day and searching this thread a lot and read the past 5 pages or so (100 posts per page...) and cant figure this out.

At the moment I'm trying to create the following set up:
Stack 1 - 180s, done and working.
Stack 2 - 18s, done and working.
Stack 3 - 45s, done and working AND Fifty50s - Just can't get it to work for Fifty50s To make an expression for 18s/45s was easy, just copying the 180 expression and changing the number from 180 to 18 or 45, but I've tried changing the expression to this:

[$€][\d,.]+(\+R)?\s((NL|NLHE|PL|(No\s|Pot\s)?Limit)\s)?(Hold 'em(\sMixed)?|Omaha(\sH/L)?(\sMixed)?|Stud(\sH/L)?|Razz|5-(C|c)ard\sDraw|Badugi|HOR?SE|8-Game|Triple\sDraw\s2-7\sLowball)?\s?((\[Turbo(,\sFifty50)?(,\sRebuy)?\])?|.*?\.\.\.)(\s-\s(Blinds|Stakes)\s[$€]\d+/[$€]?\d+(\sAnte\s(\$|€)\d+)?\s-\sTournament\s\d+\sTable\s\d+(\s-\s1\son\s1\s-\s)?|.*?\.\.\.)

I cant figure out why, here are the infos:

$200.00 NL Hold'em [Turbo, Fifty50] - Blinds $50/$100 Ante $10 - Tournament 545898972 Table 1

$30.00 NL Hold'em [Turbo, Fifty50] - Blinds $60/$120 Ante $15 - Tournament 545945926 Table 1

$15.00 NL Hold'em [Turbo, Fifty50] - Blinds $25/$50 - Tournament 545955354 Table 1

$100.00 NL Hold'em [Turbo, Fifty50] - Blinds $25/$50 - Tournament 545944712 Table 1

$60.00 NL Hold'em [Turbo, Fifty50] - Blinds $50/$100 Ante $10 - Tournament 545947516 Table 1

And finally Stack 4 - I want this to be all other tournaments (mtts, sats, everything) EXCEPT for all the stuff in the above 3 stacks and can't figure out how to do this. I've tried using just the 'Pokerstars table class' or the Pokerstars Tournament RegEx, and when I use either of these it messes up the other 3 stacks and 180s/18s randomly get put in stack 4.

Thanks a lot.

Sorry for three posts in a row, seem to have timed out my allowed editing time.

Besides the problem with Fifty50s & Having every other game other than 45s/180s/18s/Fifty50s put into Slot 4, theres also one other issue:

I want to have the ability to have 4 extra slots on my right monitor for deep runs, so I can mouse over any table and press 1 and it'll move to slot one on right screen. I thought this would work but for somereason isn't at the moment, any suggestions? (Hotkey swapping is allowed in options)

Sorry for the questions, I have tried, honestly lol

Hey. Thanks for all the hard work on this; the software seems ace. I'm having trouble getting setup though. I'd like to have 3 seperate stacks for 180 mans on Stars with each stack being a different buyin - ($2.5s, $3rs & $8s+). I've worked out the slots bit but am having trouble figuring out expressions for each buyin level of 180. Would you be able to give them to me or explain how I make them myself? Thanks again.

Sorry to post again, but if I'm correct, you can set the program to recognise the window type by title? I've been trying to do this and have grabbed the details and created entries in the title regex list (I've used - $2.50 NL Hold'em [180 Players, Turbo] - $3.50+R NL Hold'em [180 Players, Turbo, Rebuy] - $8.00 NL Hold'em [180 Players, Turbo]) but it doesn't work. All games are opening in the slot I've used for the first title - $8 180s. Sorry for the dbl post, this kinda thing drives me up the ******' wall!

Thank you TheIrishThug for making this amazing program!

I had to spend the entire day learning about regular expression and all because it's not easy to set up if you know nothing about it, as it was my case. I'm having one problem though, I play three different modalities, so I will have 3 stacks and some slots to spare for each. There will be times that I won't have any table of one of the modalities running so I will want to use those slots, but when I uncheck the "move" box, it goes crazy and the tables start flickering and sometimes it opens the 100k freeroll webpage. Is there a way to fix this? Or what other solution do I have? Is there a way to keep the "move" box unchecked but force the table to get in place when they first pop up?

Im gonna post the regex that are useful to me, they are for 9man non turbos, 9man non turbo KOs, and 9man Turbos&KOs, maybe someone else will find them useful too. The credit goes for the person who did the PS SNG regex, thank you.

Pokerstars 9man Non Turbo KOs:
\$[\d,.]+.*?\sNL\sHold'em\s((\[((Knockout)?)\]))((\s+)-\sBlinds\s\$\d+/\$\d+(\sAnte\s\$\d+)?\s-\sTournament\s\d+\sTable\s\d+(\s-\s1\son\s1\s-\s)?|.*?\.\.\.)

Pokerstars 9man Non turbos

Pokerstars 9man Turbos & Turbo KOs

You're welcome

Does anyone know if there's a way to give placemint a conditional like:
If you're at "x" blind level (this is possible because the title of the table changes, great) AND if slot "y" is "empty", then move the table there. Is there a way to give that type of conditional?

Mitch this is what you have to do:
1) Go here and download the latest regular expression list and the slot templates:
http://****************/projects/placemint/files/
2) Put them in the same folder as placemint.exe
3) Open placemint, go to Tools - Options and browse each of them in the specified category.

4) Open the regex file with notepad and put the desired regex code, for example for the 180man 8$ it would be like this:
<PMRegex xsi:type="TitleRegex">
<title>Here you can put anything you like</title>
<match>\$8(\.00)\sNL\sHold'em\s((\[180\sPlayers,\sTurbo\]))((\s+)-\sBlinds\s\$\d+/\$\d+(\sAnte\s\$\d+)?\s-\sTournament\s\d+\sTable\s\d+(\s-\s1\son\s1\s-\s)?|.*?\.\.\.)</match>
<case-sensitive>false</case-sensitive>
</PMRegex>

5) Save. Close and open placemint again. Go to "Tools - Configure - Title RegEx" and here you should have the option to use the one you just added.

Zrebna,
You can read through the Quick Setup Guide

AntiHer0,
Yes, that is done by default.

chilin_dude,
45s and Fifty50s
Code:
[$€][\d,.]+(\+R)?\s((NL|NLHE|PL|(No\s|Pot\s)?Limit)\s)?(Hold'em(\sMixed)?|Omaha(\sH/L)?(\sMixed)?|Stud(\sH/L)?|Razz|5-(C|c)ard\sDraw|Badugi|HOR?SE|8-Game|Triple\sDraw\s2-7\sLowball)?\s?((\[(45\sPlayers)?((,\s)?Turbo)?(,\sRebuy)?(,\sFifty50)?\])?|.*?\.\.\.)(\s-\s(Blinds|Stakes)\s[$€]\d+/[$€]?\d+(\sAnte\s(\$|€)\d+)?\s-\sTournament\s\d+\sTable\s\d+(\s-\s1\son\s1\s-\s)?|.*?\.\.\.)
The catch all stack is going to be tricky. As you have seen, if you have a window that is matched by more than one expression, there is no way to garuntee which group will end up matching the winodw.

As for moving the windows, this is likely due to the fact that you are making different groups. A window can not be moved from one group to another. So, it is not possible to have a set of 4 extra slots that can be used by any window you have open. You would have to make the extra slots for each group and assign a unique hotkey for each.

Carloss86,
You can not "reuse" slots that are in different groups. However, you can make multiple configurations and switch between then based on what setup you want at that specific moment.
There is not a way to just move a window once.
Thanks for helping the others in the thread.

As for adding regex expressions: It is better to add them using PlaceMint than doing it by hand. Tools > Configure > Edit Regex List. At the bottom of the list on the left side of the window will be "<Add New>". Click on that and then set the title and paste the expression in the large text box. Then click Save & Close to go back and select the new expression.

Hi my question is probably a bit similiar to the one in the quote.
I want to have all my 180s in 1 stack then as the blinds increase move to a new stack i.e
Stacks : 1 2
3 4
Stack 1: Blinds 10/20-50/100
Stack 2: Blinds 100/200- 200/400
Stack 3: Blinds 300/600 - 50/1k
Stack 4: Blinds 600/1.2k - FT

I dont know if this is possible but if it is and someone could tell me how to do it i'd be very thankful.
Cheers Kris

Great tool man, good job!

One question, i am using title regex to recognize my tables, but it also moves lobby, is there a way to put a word into title regex which should not in title's string?

Like: 1st title: poker for dummies
2nd title: poker for dummies main

I would like to use title regex "poker for dummies" but then also 2nd title is recogniez, so if I put a word "main" into title regex as a word that should be there.

Thanks for the regex for 45s/Fifty50s, gonna give it a whirl now. And I understand now about making a different slot for all the games to move them, so I'll have 1,2,3,4 for the 180s then Alt&1,2,3,4 to move my 45s.

RE the catch all except the other Three slots/regexs, is there anyway to 'exclude' certain words, for example if I could move all of the tables to slot 4 unless they include any of the words '180 Players','Fifty50','45 Players', '18 Players'?
Thanks very much for feedback and software, do you accept donations?
