I have used Placemint for a few years now and just had to reinstall due to a hard drive reformat, so now I have the latest version of Placemint. And I'm experiencing an issue with swapping tables now.

I'm on PokerStars and when I select a table with the left mouse button, hold and drag it across the screen it begins swapping with every table it passes.

As oppose to waiting for me to find a location for the table and then releasing the left mouse button for it to swap. (This is how it previously functioned before my reformat)

Any suggestions?

I figured it out!
If you have 'popup table on action..' checked in your advanced multitabling options in stars selected it causes lots of buggy behavior from placemint on swapping. I unchecked and it works great now.

I have been messing with PlaceMint for a few days now and don't understand whats not working. I have reinstalled it a few times going step by step following the guides and I am not getting any results.

I'm using it to try and organize carbon poker tournament windows,

...I have downloaded and saved the most recent poker slot template and regex list.
...I am running PM as an admin.
...I tried both with and without the carbon tournaments in the slot template list (I had to add them).

PM is just not recognizing my windows, I think. Nothing ever pops up in the tree, any ideas?

What is that actual problem you are having? The slot template list is a set of predefined window sizes. There is no requirement for them to be used.

You don't have to do anything special, just make a new slot with an adjustment to the max window count. As a window appears that you want to be in that slot, you can move it there.

There is no a way to iterate over windows in a stack. The file menu is the only way to switch configurations.

The program just wasn't working, all of this is new to me. I was trying to use the Carbon Poker Tournament selection in the regex list. I just tried using the cash one and it started popping up in the tree. Not sure why the tournament one wasn't working. Ill play with it a bit more in the morning and post results.

Actually just the Hand History is being recognized, the lobby is not.

Anyone have any tips/ how to's about running this with notitlebar. I'm trying to set up 4-6 table setups on stars.

I'm having an issue with my arrangement not corresponding to the layout I get in Stars.

I have this layout saved in PM where slots 1 and 2 are 622x423 slots 4 and 3: 622x450.

When I launch PS the widths of the tables are off. Details grabber reflects the discrepancy. Slots 1+2 are 575x423, Slots 3 and 4: 614x450.

I'm having problem with place mint .I was using it on win xp and worked just fine .Now i have win 7x64 pro and TitleRegEx doesn't work at all . Place mint doesn't see the tables .It works only with Class regex ,but is not enough ,because many sites have same class for lobby ,popups and tables and it's a real mess .
What can i do ?

I started using it today and have a question.
I use Placemint for PokerStars. I want it to place only tables where I dont sit and ignore tables where I sit. I use this rule now:
How can I exclude tables with "Logged In as Nickname" string and also exclude "Fast" tables?

I get the error message "Couldn't register the hotkey:Key /P/Modkeys/Alt, Shift/"

I'm a bit confused, because as far as I know I have never used the hotkeys for Placemint. (Or for any other program as far as I know) What could be causing this conflict and what do I do about it?

I got few questions about Placemint for anyone that may know the answer(s) to them:

1. In the picture below what do 'Send F5', 'Move' and 'Size' exactly do? Isn't minimizing already sizing it?

2. Again in the pic below on the left side where it says #2. I've put the Hotkey combo as Alt+C to move a table to slot 19. So I have a table in slot 1 and I have that window selected and I press Alt+C and nothing happens? How is this supposed to work, did i misunderstood something? Also is it supposed to be that mousing over it is enough or does it need to be selected? I tried both methods anyways and neither works...

3. Is it possible in some way to have Placemint automatically place tables in a specific location based on if I have 'Sit out next big blind' selected (PokerStars). So I'd like it to move the table as soon as I click on 'Sit out next big blind'. Note, I wouldn't be sitting out yet, but instead queued to sit out next BB.

Try deleting all the settings files and see if that allows you to start PlaceMint.

No there is not. Windows does support using Alt + Tab to switch between windows.

What do you mean by notitlebar? I would assume that the windows still have titles even if they are not displayed.
Many sites require the window to have a specific aspect ratio to make drawing the table easier.

There isn't anything different between the two operating systems. By default, if a window group has as class and title expression, the window has to match both to be included in the group.

You need to give me examples of the window titles you want to match and examples of the ones you don't want to match. See the instructions.

That is the default hotkey for pausing PlaceMint. Some other application has already registered a global hotkey for that combination, which means PlaceMint can't use it. You can change the hotkey to something else by going to Tools > Options > Other.

1. See the documentation.
2. Hotkey swapping is not enabled by default. Tools > Options > Swapping. The active window will be the one that PlaceMint tries to swap.
3. Unless a change is made to the title when you do this, this is not possible. PlaceMint is a general application that works on all windows, so it does not have the ability to analize what is happening within the window.
