On the Settings Tab for the window group you made, you can check Minimize. This will allow windows that are being controlled by PlaceMint to be minimized. Then you can move to the Hotkey Tab and assign a hotkey for minimizing all of the windows in the group. When you press the hotkey, it will minimize the window. There is no automated way to do this.

Also have the problem with entraction tables (24hpoker) that the table gets into the slot but the graphics stay the same bigger size so I can only see 2/3 of the table.

There have been no changes to address this issue. As I mentions in the post you linked to, I believe these types of problems are due to an issue with the program that is not redrawing correctly. The ratio of programs that redraw their windows properly to programs that don't heavily favors the side that do. The Windows API provides a single method for moving or resizing a window and that is the method I am using.

I have two questions about Stars table positioning. (Lets say I am 12tabling on one screen)

1) Is there a possibility to have my first x tables to be the higher limit once and my last x tables be the lower limits? Lets say I play 5 tables 3/6 and 5 tables 2/4 and two tables 1/2. I would like to have the first five positions to be 3/6 and the last two position to be 1/2. If I close some 3/6 tables I would still like to have them as the first tables. Also if I open more tables later I want to auto arrange them that the higher limits are on top. Would that be any possible? If not with Placemint maybe with another software?

2) Completely different: Lets say that I still play multiple stakes but I would want to ignore that and order tham like on top would be tables where I am 250+bb then 3(or how many it would be) tables of 100-250bb and the last couple tables would be the once where I have less than 50bb. Obv. they would need to change if I get a deepstack at one table I would want that to reorder (after a hotkeyclick maybe?) and jump in the first positions changing places with another table.


Is any of this possible?

1) Can be done, but you need a custom expression that strictly matches the titles for each of your partitions. And then make a window group that uses one of the expressions. Then the tables would always go into the slots for the specifc group they match. This would NOT allow for 2/4 tables to automatically move to the top left slots if no 3/6 tables were open.

2) No. PlaceMint doesn't know anything about what is happening in the window, jus that it exists.

Seems like exactly what I was looking for to use on the Merge Network. To replicate what Table Ninja did for me on Stars. I just want to make 4 spots, stack everything in one slot and drag the tables out to the other 3 spots as they become important. (To start with.)

I'm having trouble getting started, I think I need the Merge regex, i was sifting through these pages and just couldn't find it.

I followed HighSteaks mini start up guide, thank you. A more basic instruction list for a novice would be highly appreciated though, if anyone can walk me through what I am trying to do.

I made some progress but its still not working. Carbon Tournament tables don't pop up in the tree or anything. I followed all the instructions I believe.

I downloaded and saved and set the poker template and poker regex.

I then made a basic setup to move around and saved and loaded. Nothing happens.

Any help is appreciated.

If you are using Vista or Windows 7, you need to run PlaceMint as admin.

I have the latest expression list but the default "ipoker" is not working with my williamhill tables. It works for basically all other sites but williamhill doesnt attach...
Any advice? Btw.. I love this software!

All of the other expressions in the regex list match the titles you posted. I can not explain why PlaceMint is matching some windows, but not others when it should.

I believe I am missing something in the poker template file for merge, if I figure it out I will post results. Anyone else use PlaceMint for Merge (Carbon) and get it working properly?

I have a question about stacking. I am using Placemint for SNGs, and it seems very possible that when a new SNG fills up it could be placed on top of a table that requires action. I use Stars' option to bring a table requiring action to the foreground, but if it already brings it to the foreground and the recently filled SNG covers it up, I will time out and sit out of the remaining hands on the original table without even being aware of it. Is there a solution for this? Is there a way to cycle through the tables in a stack to look at the tables to see if I am sitting out anywhere?

I am also wondering if there is any hotkey swapping of configurations, or if the only way to change configs is through the File menu.
