We need just a few more people for the beta.

It would be nice if you could reactivate the PokerProLabs forum.

I'm guessing that this isn't approved by Stars?

We exclude information for PS that is available on other sites to comply with their requirements. You can always opt-out if you wish.

Here is a link to download the beta. I think you will really like it

Is there anyway to filter results by "buy-in amount?" Players ROI/profit/etc can very greatly based on what level they are playing.

Great piece of software - Sharkscope on wheels!
What sites (other than FT) do you support and are you planning to support?

Had FTP actively approved this?

It is a great piece of software! We support SNG’s as well as MTT’s and heads-up so you can switch views and see how they do in each.

We also support PokerStars SNG’s and MTT’s. Just added support for Absolute Poker MTT’s and will add sng’s shortly. We have Party Poker ready and will start testing next week. The William Hill / Cryptologic network is also ready for testing. Poker Room / Ongame /BWIN will be out in February.

We only use information that is publicly available similar to other tournament summary databases. We just process the information in a different way and give it to you as you are playing. “that saves a lot of time and a lot of strain on the wrists”

Why would Party Poker allow this, but not Poker Prophecy? Poker Prophecy also used to collect data on Party SNGs and MTTs, and overlay them in real time - using it will get your funds confiscated. What have you done to comply with Party Poker's TOS?

Do you have an official statement from Party Poker, or any of these sites, that says something like "Poker Pro, we have reviewed your software, and using it will not violate our site's TOS"?

I think central databases are against the rules of most poker sites, however there isn't really much difference between this program and using sharkscope.

Tested this on windows vista and it's working fine (you may have to run as administrator though). I guess for multi-tabling it takes a lot of space, developers may consider some kind of overlay (like Poker Prophecy does) instead of attaching to the room.

Could you give some information on the data that is used? For example, for how long is it running, covering % etc.

I downloaded and I believe it needs work.

The presentation of the data is fine, and I believe I would use something like this instead of researching open dbs.

However, as I had said before it needs work.

It uses a lot of resources, plus it doesn't update when the player leaves the table (mtts).

It has crashed every time I tried to close it.

It hangs with a lot of frequency.

Hi PKR,

Can you give me some additional information on the resources that it uses? Tournament Shark was designed to use very few resources and all our tests show that even with 10 tables open, it only uses between 1-6% cpu and 20k – 46k of memory.

If you want to update the information when new players enter or exit the table, you need to click the Refresh link in the blue toolbar. You can also click the radio buttons to switch views between MTT and SNG. If you want to minimize or maximize the information, just click the ^^^ on the right side of the tool bar or Click VVV to maximize.

I have never had it crash or hang so it might be a missing a file. You can pm me with additional information so we can find the issue.

I just downloaded the trial version and have a few questions/comments.

1. I assume you need to be in a tourney for it to work. I brought up a SNG I wasn't in and it didn't show any stats.

2. What are the %s on the right? E% EM% etc

3. The help files and documentation are about another program altogether.

4. There are many dead links on your site.

5. It looks like you've avoided this most important one - Has FTP actively approved this?

Thanks.

Im guessing that there is no reply due to the last couple posters being very direct in questioning the legality of the program according to Full Tilt and/or Poker Stars.
IMO the program is quite valuable, yet risky nonetheless. Its only a matter of time before it shows up on PS banned software list, and although FT doesn't have a similar list of specifically banned software, this program fits the description of software they do not allow...
That being said, does anyone have any idea how often players get caught using banned software (other than bots) on PS and FT? Not that I am condoning the use of them, I just think that for a mid-stakes player like myself the risk may be minimal. I haven't been caught, but then again I havent ever used anything besides pokeroffice anyways

Pokernomix,
We have a confirmation from PokerStars that Tournament Shark has been reviewed and approved. The newly revised list of approved software will have Tournament Shark on it.
