Holdem Manager 3 questions

Hi,
I just started playing poker again since 8 years. Back in the day, I had Holdem manager (I think it was HM1).
Now I am thinking about purchasing HM3 for USD 100. Just a few questions:
- Will it slow down my laptop? I have a budget laptop with the following specs:
AMD Ryzen 5 3500U processor
8GB RAM
128 SSD
1 TB storage
Just a basic laptop. I know from HM1 that it significantly reduced my laptop performance after a lot of hands.
How will my laptop perform?
Is HM still the best HUD tool out there? I am just starting up again.
