Table Tamer - Multi-Site Tiling and Hotkeys Table Tamer - Multi-Site Tiling and Hotkeys

Table Tamer

Table Tamer is a program for optimizing your multi-table performance while playing poker.

Right now it is in the testing phase and free of charge. I wanted to get the poker community's feedback on it. There are some bugs, and I would like to know what problems other people encounter. It is mostly based towards US sites right now, but every site I have encountered can be added to the program by the user. I will eventually add more sites as well. Also, I haven't tested on XP. If someone can try it out for me, that would be great. I think you need service pack 3 though.

You need to sign up to the website first, and then download the program. It will prompt you for your username and password when you first run it.

Sites with predefined layouts so far:

Cake Version 1
Revolution Poker (Lock, Juicy Stakes, Intertops)
Winning Poker (Truepoker, BCP, ACR)
Pokerstars Classic
Pokerstars Hypersimple
Merge (smaller table sizes may require configuration because of merge's scaling)
Bovada/Bodog

Features:

Several Tiling Modes
Hotkeys
End of hand detection
Xbox 360 Controller support
Voice support
Preview table thumbnails
Change the bet size with your scrollwheel on your mouse
Colored borders for urgent tables

What do the different tiling modes consist of?

Can you post some screenshots or explain them?

There is a video on the frontpage of the site that shows a couple of them. I will break them down here real quick:
VPIP - One main stack, only move to grid after you commit money in the hand
Preflop Action - Tables move to grid when there is action preflop and remain there til the end of hand
Preflop Action 2 - Same as above but the tables will retile when you fold. This helps alleviate looking around the screen for the next urgent table. The most urgent table will always be in the first empty slot.
Action - Tables move to grid when they need action and then back to the stack when action is completed.
Action 2 - Similar to preflop action 2 but hands don't stay in the grid til end of hand.
Fill - Fill all the slots with tables and urgent tables are brought to the top or put in an different slot if the current slot is already occupied with an urgent table

I am interested to hear what modes people think are most useful and what they would like to see. Personally, I use a combination of the modes depending on how many tables I have going.

what language did you write this in?

maybe you can explain to us, what set Table Tamer apart from long time present and supported StackAndTile, KeyPoker, TableNinja ... regrading supported features and supported networks!?

I can't watch the videos on your website. It says 'No video with supported format and MIME type found'.

Keypoker isn't supported anymore. Users can also update their site layouts at any time by themselves with Table Tamer.
Table Ninja is for Pokerstars specifically.

I listed a lot of the features in the first post that I think are important. Some of them are definitely not implemented in the current programs that are out. I am trying to make this program as versatile as possible, and I hope to have a lot more features after testing. I actually removed some things to release.

What browser are you using? I tested on Safari, Chrome and IE and it worked for me. I will try and upload a youtube copy in a little bit.

For your information PokerStars will soon be getting rid of all tables themes and the NOVA theme will be the only one available. Source for this information can be found in the PokerStars software improvement thread.

So your current software wont support Pokerstars in the near future

Just chiming in to say, you got that wrong. Nova will replace Classic as the default theme for a fresh install, but of course you'll still be able to install all the other base themes (hyper simple, black, slick etc) as well as mods based on them.

Nova becoming default theme

Nova will become the default theme at PokerStars. Players who have never changed their theme on their current install will be prompted to change to the Nova theme, and new installations will have Nova by default.

Thanks for trying it out. What part of the configuration process was confusing? I definitely want to make it as user friendly as possible.

No problem. I will add Nova soon.
12-23-2012 , 02:33 AM
I added Nova support and fixed a bug that stopped Hypersimple from working.

Can you please put up a tutorial or instructions on how to configure the hotkeys? That would be very helpful.
12-23-2012 , 05:29 AM
I put up a very basic hotkey guide under documentation. I am going to make some GUI changes to make the program more accessible. When I'm done, I will work more on the tutorials.

It should work with all of them. I will try and get a custom site tutorial out soon.
