Most likely: you have hero stats set to show only for current blind level. So every time the blinds go up your stats reset to 0. Search for "hero_aggregation_level_multiplier" in your HUD_config.xml.

Thanks for the advice but it doesn't like that's the problem. Just checked and it's set to 1. Just playing a hold em tourney now and my stats are still saved from last tourneys. My omaha was resetting randomly also I think, I'm sure it wasn't resetting each blind level anyway.

Edit: Oh no just noticed a reset in my hold em tourney but it didn't reset to 0. When I checked the blinds, it said 7 minutes from 10 so it changed a few minutes ago. Maybe I wasn't paying attention. Will pay attention now.

You might want to consider boosting it up to 2 or 3 then so it includes stats from 'nearby' blind levels. Really, it's up to you!

Recently decided to try out FPDB. I have a 2 monitor setup with my main monitor on the right side. When i start the FPDB Hud, the hud stats always appear on my secondary monitor and layed on top of the poker stars window.

The HUD stats track the PokerStars window, so when I move the PokerStars window on monitor 1, the hud stats move around on monitor 2.

Is there any fix for this monitor issue? Searching the thread did not seem to help me.

If you don't particularly care about saving your existing config/database, the most likely effective fix would be to delete them and run FPDB again. They should be in %appdata%\fpdb. Just delete that folder.

I apologize for making so many posts but the last thing im having trouble with is changing which stats are showing.

I'm playing on cash games on PokerStars and am trying to show less stats on the hud. I have gone into Configure > Preferences > stat_sets > ss holdem_ring and tried to change the "Rows" and "Columns" values (then restarted FPDB). The problem is when I start fpdb again, turn on autoimport and play a few hands, however the hud never shows up?

Any help changing the stats that are shown with the hud would be greatly appreciated.

The HUD is all set up how I want for the most part and its great! One further question I have is, sometimes the HUD info for certain players at the table will "fade" out, or become more transparent, what causes this and can I change this behaviour?

I have the HUD opacity set to 1 in the config, but sometimes the HUD for certain players will still fade and it makes it harder to read.

Any advice on this matter would be great!

I'm trying to set up preferred seat on 6max games but I can't seem to be able to do that.

I think I've tried every number possible but it still doesn't show up correctly. Is there cache or something I have to erase after making changes?

I can make a reasonable guess why, yeah. From the hand histories we have (which are old, but not necessarily out of date) it appears player seats in the hand histories are a bit wacky. So FPDB is getting confused.

For example, in the 3 hand histories we have for OnGame 6-max:

One has players in seats 2,3,5,7,8,10
One has players in seats 4,6,7,8
One has players in seats 4,5,6,8,9

There's no way we can reconcile the first one with the last two.

If you go through your hand histories and find that they are all consistent with each other, we can do something. But if people are getting put in different sets of seats, we're probably screwed.

Sounds like you know what you're doing. Did you restart FPDB after editing the config? Cos you gotta do that. (Well, you have to restart the HUD only in this instance.)

I didn't restart the whole client but I restarted the hud multiple times and I also used the rebuilt HUD cache option thinking it might help.

Can you tell me what the right seat number is so I can try again?
