How I installed FPDB in Linux - step by step:
I'm using Xubuntu 13.10 (Ubuntu with XFCE) so I assume that this will work for Ubuntu with all variations, Mint, Debian, Crunchbang and similar
apt-get 'nixes. In case you're using some old version make sure you have Python 2.7 installed which is not covered in these steps (mine is 2.7.5 out of the box).
OPEN TERMINAL (now you should be in your home dir) and then ...
1) since you probably don't have, install Git:
Quote:
sudo apt-get install git-core
2) now we pull FPDB (it'll end in
/home/your-linux-name/fpdb-chaz/):
3) install necessary Python libraries (this is one line):
Quote:
sudo apt-get install python-matplotlib python-matplotlib-data python-numpy python-wnck python-pypoker-eval python-imaging python-beautifulsoup
4) we need sql lite (I decided not to bother with mysql or postgre):
Quote:
sudo apt-get install sqlite
5) finally configure FPDB (copy example and make it main config):
Quote:
cp fpdb-chaz/pyfpdb/HUD_config.xml.example fpdb-chaz/pyfpdb/HUD_config.xml
6) In the end I've made desktop shortcut to main prog (
/home/your-linux-name/fpdb-chaz/run_fpdb.py) but you can also run it from there.
And that's it. FPDB installed.
After you run it for the first time you'll select language and it's on.
After setting the proper HH path (Full Tilt installed under Wine) I've just played 6 card PLO with HUD and tracker and could see graph afterwards and I can now
finally say:
Dear Micro$oft,
FU very much and have a nice day!
