Hi All,

I'm having trouble getting the HUD to position player stats correctly on 888 (it works fine for me on Pokerstars).

I have set my favorite seat on 888 for the 9-seat table.

I think my favorite seat is 3 (the lower of the 2 player on the right)

I have set my favorite seat under the 9-seat table.

When the hud appears, the stats seem to be arranged in no particular order. I move them and save them but they revert to these weird positions no matter what i do.

I have tried setting the x and y positions directly in the advanced preferences, then restarting fpdb, but again they revert to the same weird positions.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to set the player stat windows correctly on 888?

Language is English.

Within %appdata%\fpdb\log\fpdb-errors.txt the only text is "fdpb starting ..."

Within %appdata%\fpdb\log\HUD-errors.txt there is no text.

The first line withing the pyfpdbzfpdb.exe.log is importer : ERROR Failed to send hand to HUD: [Errno 22] Invalid argument. There are a huge number of lines. This is the first and is often repeated.

The first few lines within pyfpdb\HUD_main.exe are hud : ERROR Error creating HUD for hand 95.

the stat name you need is car0 (car"zero") not car

Edit the config to change the name - everything will hopefully work now.

I don't play on 888 so I can't check.

Could you look at the hand history file for that session. Did 888 keep you in the same seat for each hand?

Some sites don't correctly report the number of seats at the table - that can cause problems because the hud won't know which layout to use.

If you are willing, could you send that hand history to me by email? I can then run it through and try to debug what is going wrong?

I did as you asked gimick.

It worked for one stat line but after quitting the session and coming back to it later it did not work even for one line.

Back to the beginning I am afraid.

Thanks gimick, you are correct, 888 has me sitting at Seat 1 each hand. At least now I can stop going insane trying to figure it out

Is there any way for me to hard-code the correct co-ordinates in the xml file?

Another Q.

Is there a way to prevent fpdb from bringing a window to the front when the hud updates stats. When multi-tabling it can be frustrating to lose focus on a table that needs input.

Somebody has try FPDB 0.34 in Party Poker.es?

I had some poker with fpdb...
My tournament graphs only go down, it doesnt import my proffits.
It doesnt import my ipoker hands.
Can someone help me ??

Tournament results must be imported using the import/tournament results import. Run this option and select the pokerstars tournament summary folder.

If this doesn't work, please check pokerstars software options. Check that tournament summaries are being created. (not active by default)

I think that focus is being stolen when the mucked cards are displayed. You can test this by disabling mucked cards.

Edit the config, locate the supported games section.

replace something looking like this:
<game aux="mucked" cols="3" db="fpdb" game_name="holdem" rows="3">

with something looking like this:
<game aux="" cols="3" db="fpdb" game_name="holdem" rows="3">

Can you check for error messages again please?

Can you please look in the following files for any errors?

%appdata%\fpdb\log\fpdb-errors.txt
%appdata%\fpdb\log\HUD-errors.txt

and check for errors in the fpdb folder (the place where you installed the software):

pyfpdb\fpdb.exe.log
pyfpdb\HUD_main.exe.log

I had checked all that options and everything is right.
The fpdb works perfectly with cash games, everything works.
But in tournaments dont import my proffits, my graphic is always going down.
Also in poker770 the table hud doesn´t appear in tournaments, but in cash games works... I don´t know how to fix this problems.

Is it the HUD update or the mucked cards that is stealing focus?

There isn't much we can to on windows with the toolkit we are using to prevent the mucked cards from stealing focus.

Q - why stat car0 (% called a raise preflop) don't work for 5CD ?
IMHO this stat for this game is not so different from holdem, where it works AFAIK.

I'd love to use your program, but I'm having trouble to get everything working.

Running Ubuntu 12.04, amd64. I've downloaded python-fpdb_0.29.904-1_all.deb, installed the package and imported hands. Some problems:

1.) HUD not displayed at all. I've tried ticking off window manager window control in wine as suggested on the wiki page, but it didn't help. (Playing on Poker Stars.) When I start 'Auto Import and HUD', the main HUD window opens and the terminal says:
"opening pipe to HUD
Could not setup log file HUD-log.txt"

2.) I'm getting a crash when clicking Hand Viewer: it says that the
/usr/share/pyshared/fpdb/cards01.png is missing

I've manged to get it to work in the meantime:

-purged deb package
-deleted .fpdb manually
-downloaded and installed fpdb-0.30.4

Everything working so far!

I changed this stat to car0 and I am still not getting any stats via the HUD.

gimick, what else do you suggest?
