Some times when I bulk import, which I do all the time as I don't auto import, it will just say importing forever rather than actually import.

I have no idea why some files will import just fine and others won't, I play on FTP and its almost all badugi hands.

The HUD should work for lowball games. The stats are called PFR instead of PDR, but they should be the same thing.

Sorrow,

Thanks for all the help with FPDB recently, the hand that would not bulk import for me was a hand where I sat in and posted a blind and someone else did not post then sat out. I've found a couple more files that have hands where the exact same thing happens and they do not import either. I just have gone in and deleted the hand (as no action was even taken so its irrelevant anyway) and the file imports fine. I have not idea if this is a bug or if you just have to keep your eye out for it.

Thanks again.

^^^
This continues to happen, and now I have a file that I removed the hand where someone sat out and it still will not work. Although there may be another hand where this happened that I skipped over.

s0rrow would like to have those hand histories--just the ones that fail if possible, but the whole file if you are not sure which one. Just zip them up nice and tight and send to the mailing list.

Hi all!

May be it was already discussed and u can give a link to that post, i tried to find but could not, so...the question is - how can i retrieve from database tournament hands statistics?

I see in DB statistics that i have around 1K hands, in Player Stats Screen (Cash) i can see only half of that hands, how can i get the another half, is there something like Player Stats Screen (Tourney)?

Stag

hi id like to ask a question and post a bug:

question:

if i dont use the auto import when im playing but open it after the game ends, does it import all unimported hands like HEM does?

bug:
in ubuntu 10.4 i select the hand history folder to be /home/xx/.win/drive_c/program files etc

it imports when i select this, but then when i close the program and reopen it , it doesnt remember the folder. so i have to do it every time.

i am using the .deb file is that makes any diff with the snardard db.

thanks aris

The best way is to edit the config.xml file to save the paths.

For bulk import it is also possible to click the "Add" button over on the left hand side just below halfway dowwn the page.

This is for the Windows, I assume Linux is exactly the same software and layout.

I have a whole file of hands that will not import for some reason. Normally I've had problems with badugi hands where people sit out after someone else has posted and that messes up the bulk import.

These hands are all stud8 hands while it says they import fine they do not show up on the ring game graph at all. They are at 2/4 and I have some other hands from 3/6 that show up but the 2/4 hands will not show on the graph.

Help?

Going to need more info. Do you expect this to happen automatically? It wont - importing is either done manually via bulk import, or using auto-import + hud during the session.

Hmm - no.

That page used to include both tourneys and cash, but it became a mess. Cash was split out, and a tourney results page added (this is 'in progress') but I dont think there is an interface to view tourney hands in the same way as ring at the moment.

Need info. Was it working previously? Did you change the stats or layout? Windows XP/Vista/7/Linux? Stud/Flop/Draw?

Nice to hear One of the biggest complaints against FPDB was how hard it is to setup. I dont think this is the case anymore, and its nice to hear

No - we dont record 'state' between FPDB sessions, so this isn't something we've considered yet.

Thats a gtk/gnome thing, from memory the Gnome HIG say 'Dont force the user to a default directory'

fwiw - o've i've navigated to the directory I drag the folder to the left pane so it is saves as a favourite.

If you are a competent linux user, it might be worth tracking a git repository and running from source - we can always use good testers, and any bug fixes arrive the moment you pull.

Please forward that file on to me Go Get It, we've got a release that is being tagged and translated right now - if this is still an issue i've got a small window to get it included.

I'm a french user of fpdb on winamax. The HUD works fine for Cash game, but not for tournaments. Do you plan to add support for tournaments on this room?

This software is amazing, thank you very much.
I just have a few questions:

Are there ways to get other info on your graphics such as EV line and rakeback?
Does the HUD work for rush poker?

Thanks

Rakeback - No
EV - Working towards it, but no.
Rush - HUD, No. The hands can be imported, and there is a script that allows the player notes to be updated after you have closed FTP down. I haven't used it, and i'm not sure if it is ready for prime time yet. Gimick?

Not for prime time just yet, but would really welcome some help to get it there.

Rizzo, if you want to try-out the script, I'll guide you through how to set it up. Drop me a PM or catch me on #fpdb support channel

I'd like to know if two issues are being dealt with in near future releases...

The hud stats use to move when you moved a table. They moved as the table was adjusted. Now, they are frozen... and secondly, they rarely close the hud stats when I close a table. I have to click the menu, then click "kill the hud". And, that can be a real PITA with other tables trying to steal focus when I'm playing.. I end up with HUD stats scattered all over the screen. Trying to find out which "menu" to click so I can kill it.

Thx

Dog
