As far as I know it should work with 888. Just put your hand history path and screen name in the pacific poker spot in the options. (I haven't done this my self, but I _think_ that's how it works.)
Yeah, the HUD only shows up in the 6-seat tables, not in the other ones. Also, only records the results for these 6-seat tables games, it's something strange...
Hmm, maybe it's about something I should change in the configuration options?

Talking about 888... well I'll try to do that!

First of all, I can't be able to solve the problem related with the seats. The program has only recorded the 6-seat table, I don´t know why...

And about the second issue... copying the route of the 888poker on the PacificPoker site and few things more, didn't succed too!

Well, I really appreciate you answer me but... well let's keep looking for the solution! I'm sure there is a solution for both!

Hmm, this is unfortunate. Maybe Chaz has some ideas?

Hi all,
I haven't been around for a while, and I'd like to update to the newest build since 0.40.5 doesn't handle PokerStars 2-7 NL Knockouts.

Where can I download the latest version that will run on Windows 10?

Thanks,

Should Winning Poker (BCP) work out-of-the-box for Win 0.41.0 rc8?

I played some hands and tried to get FPDB to import those hands with no success.

Bulk-Import gave an "siteid failed for ..." and for auto-import I can´t find it at Configure/Sites.

I have 41.7 rc8 running, using sqlite and the default HUD config.

Are there any gotchas using my MySQL database and my 40.5 HUD?

Thanks,

Should fix the configure part. Not sure if it will fix the siteid part, report back!

Uh, there will very likely be problems if you use a 0.40.5 database, since the schema has changed a lot since then.

But if you mean making a new MySQL db and using your 0.40.5 HUD layout config, yeah I'd expect that to work. TIAS!

Thanks Phil,
I did have to create a new database, and over the next few days I'll re-import all my old hands -- I was hoping to avoid that if I could.

The new HUD_Config also has better XML syntax, so there's some work to do to change that, too.

But it nicely imports the 2-7 NL bounty tournaments, which was the goal.

Thanks,

Is there something to solve out that?

Hi,
I've finally got fpdb_41.7_rc8 working -- with problems.
Setup:
Bulk importing PokerStars 5-Card Draw hand history files (cash only, some zoom) into a MySQL database with session caching enabled.

Problem 1:
"bulk import" of PokerStars hand history files fails with large files -- it seems that 666 hands is the limit.
When it fails, it fails in two ways:
  • The main window just exits (app crashes)
  • App stays open, but nothing appears in db
I have worked around this using an AutoHotKey script that imports the hand history files 1 by 1.

Problem 2:
The following errors are logged in fpdb-errors.txt:
D:\tools\fpdb.41\Database.py:2819: Warning: Data truncated for column 'rakeDealt' at row 1
D:\tools\fpdb.41\Database.py:2819: Warning: Data truncated for column 'rakeContributed' at row 1
D:\tools\fpdb.41\Database.py:2819: Warning: Data truncated for column 'rakeWeighted' at row 1

The above sequence is sometimes missing one or two of the items, and does not occur on all hands. I tried enlarging the column type to see if that would fix things, but to no avail.

Problem 3:
fpdb process memory usage grows with time during bulk import process, but doesn't seem to be related to the crashes above.

There is a separate issue (separate post) with this version where the HUD is not on top.

Cheers,
--D

Good Day,
Using fpdb_41.7_rc8 I am able to import PokerStars 5-Card Draw hands into a MySQL database successfully.

The HUD windows (and mucked card displays) appear underneath the table window (I can see them briefly as I close the table)

Reverting to v40.5 shows the HUD and mucked card windows on top as normal.

Is there a preference or setting I need to adjust?

I'm using Windows 10 64-bit.

Thanks,

Try setting fpdb (and HUD_main) to run as admin.

Thanks for the detailed report, it will take me a while to investigate. Hopefully I can reproduce it with all this info!

Hey,

Was wondering why in all the download links there are stars****?

I can find the download links when using google, just wanted to make sure it's safe to download and there are no security issues with the software.

And thanks for making what looks like a great product for tracking mix-games!

Thanks, but it turned out not to be necessary.

When I rebuilt all my layout sets and stat sets using a file compare utility, it all started working again.

I do have a problem with HUD_main mysteriously closing.
Happens most when I'm re-arranging the layout, but now that I've got it pretty much set the way I want it, all should be well.

Are there docs for the schema itself?
In the 40.5 tables there was a column in handsplayers called "Played", and I used to use it. I've replaced it with
(hp.street0VPI or hp.street1Seen) as Played
but I'm not 100% certain that this is correct.

Thanks,

No schema docs I'm aware of. I rarely if ever touch the database code so I couldn't write them if I wanted to. Maybe Chaz knows what happened with that column.

The "showdown report" HUD feature thing which shows mucked hands on the table - is there a setting to stop that from "pinging" the table to the front?

If you are stacking tables its annoying when it brings a showdown table in front of a table where there pending action.

No, it's an unfortunate side effect. Your only recourse is to disable the mucked cards display.
