Yeah, change 'm_ratio' to 'bbstack' in your tournament stat set in the HUD_config.xml file. No, not the one in the fpdb program directory, the one in %appdata%\fpdb. If you are not comfortable digging around and editing the xml file well... sorry, you'll just have to deal with M.

Oh yeah on the same line you changed it should have:

hudprefix="M:"

You can change that to, e.g.:

hudprefix="BB:"

It's just a display thing.

Some questions about the HUD. Auto import is working, but HUD doesn't appear. Also when I tried to get more stats in Settings (put in rows 3 cols 5), it didn't add any to the original 6.

Hi! What is the difference between Source code (zip) and Source code (tar.gz) ?

Not sure why it's not saving, but you should be able to edit it in the config directly - search for aggregation_level_multiplier and hero_aggregation_level_multiplier, it should be near the start of the file. There's a comment there explaining how it works.

Adding more stats is a bit finicky. If you mess something up it might make the whole HUD stop working. Also you need to add them to the correct stat set for the game you're playing. Bit hard for me to work out what's going on from your description, though.

They're just different compression formats. zip is more prevalent on windows and tar.gz is mostly a *nix thing. Source code is only for people that really know what they're doing (and enjoy pain, tbh) anyway.

ok looked over it and I hadnt edited this line:

so I changed both multipliers to 10,000 stat range was already set to A restarted the HUD and no change only thing i can think is shut down and restart? so gonna try that

About adding stats, all I did was I changed the number or rows (to 3) and cols (to 5). 15x "stat" should appear instead of 6x, right? I believe that's how I did it in the past and it just added more stats to the "list" and it worked just fine - dunno why it didn't do anything now. I've got ypad 0, rows 3, cols 5, xpad 1. I changed definitions of _rowcol and _stat_name, but didn't touch anything else. For ss omaha_default if that is relevant.

Hmm, that would happen if you did not set your screen name correctly.

I'm pretty sure you need to fill in the 'empty spaces' with something - there is a 'blank' stat you can put as a placeholder.

I ported FPDB from gtk to PyQt. There's a pull request here from another user who wanted to run from source, who eventually got it working. The pull request includes a batch file to install all the dependencies (plus a couple of things he used to automate patching and stuff). There are more recent versions of some things now but it might serve as a helpful guide. Do remember I warned you of pain.

Right - I didn't have a screen name typed in at all, just had put in the hand history path. But now it works!

Adding more stats I still can't figure out. If I change rows to 1 and cols to 1, it still has the default 6x "stat" - the number of stats just doesn't change. I put in "blank" as first and last stat and it didn't do anything.

I saw there is 12x stat by default in ss holdem_ring. Would it be possible to use that for other games in case I can't add more stats to omaha hud?

Hmm, that sounds like you might be editing the wrong stat set. Double check under the <supported_games> tag.

Well, I've never done it myself, but I imagine you just put the batch file somewhere and run it from the cmd line. If this is outside your comfort zone you probably should not even attempt it, because things get scarier fast. There is a fix for 888poker.es in the source that was not included in the last binary release. If this is too hard your other option is to wait for another release. I have no timeline for this.

Configure -> Preferences -> stat_sets -> ss omaha_default is where I changed the number of rows and cols.

In Games I changed game_stat_set for Omaha to holdem_ring to get 12 stats instead of 6. It seems to be working. Can you confirm that it can read showdown etc stats correctly even tho that stat_set is meant for holdem? And I can also do the same for all the other games to get the same HUD and it will show everything properly? And it doesn't mix the hands together?

Ah, I see supported_games gets translated into Games in that configuration thingy. I never use it.

Yeah, it should work the way you want. Just because the stat_set is called 'holdem_ring' doesn't mean FPDB does anything special with it for holdem ring games. It is just the collection of stats to show on the HUD.

FPDB doesn't seem to be working the same time with Stud Indicator. It seems to think Stud Indicator is the poker table and the HUD boxes go around that instead of the table. Is there any way around this?

FPDB looks for tables by the window title, so if stud indicator makes a window with the table name in it, confusion can happen. A possible workaround is to only start stud indicator after FPDB has found the correct table window.

sorry if this has been asked before, but has anyone experienced issues with fpdb not loading all the hand histories for Bovada, specifically Zone? I recently took a shot at 25nl zone and have imported the hand histories for this but it is not appearing in any of my graphs/charts. Also if I check my graphs and charts for specific days where I know exactly how much I was +/- on the day it's not matching up.
